Haha, realise I am probably going to get shot down in flames for being self-indulgent and attention seeking, but hope for a few answers also....

I build up a picture of MNets in my head from what they write, how they write and the subjects they post on. Sometimes I come across an opinion on a thread from a poster that really suprises me because Otto doesn't fit with the impression I had of that poster and so my poster persona evolves. I love eclectic 'odd' people in RL, so I really enjoy not being able to pigeon hole people

I have always been a bit fascinated by how other peoples interpretations of words and actions can be very different from the intention. And also how people can be very different depending what company they are in....

So, it occurred to me today, MN is a perfect opportunity to ask alias of people 'what do you think of me?' (if anything)!

I am clearly not marketing myself very well here

porcamiseria · 18/05/2012 13:09

sorry!!!! Its just the name fanjo!!!!!

oh dear Grin

porcamiseria · 18/05/2012 13:11

do you have big boobs???? just checking.....

fanjoforthemammaries7850 · 18/05/2012 13:12

well, they aren't small Grin

fanjoforthemammaries7850 · 18/05/2012 13:13

but I am not falling over with the weight of em either

EatsBrainsAndLeaves · 18/05/2012 13:13

Fanjo - I don't think you seen scary. i would have put you at late 30's/early 40's, think you have a DC with SN and work at a Dentists (I remember randon crap). You always seem very sensible, calm and confident. I imagine you as one of those English ladies in old films who confidently in a loud and firm voice save the day by leading a group of terrified children through a slum surrounded by nasty and threatening forregnerrs.

EatsBrainsAndLeaves · 18/05/2012 13:14

And my m key seems to have turned into a n key!

porcamiseria · 18/05/2012 13:14

well done eats, thats a far better assessment

Kinnane · 18/05/2012 13:14

bejeezus,I always say your name in a Kerry accent and pronounce it bejaasus.
I think you are tall with red hair and very kind and clever :).

StepAwayFromTheEcclesCakes · 18/05/2012 13:15

does anyone want to validate me?

fanjoforthemammaries7850 · 18/05/2012 13:15

well the first 3 bits are right..but I am quite shy and notorious for having a wee quiet voice

fanjoforthemammaries7850 · 18/05/2012 13:15

StepAwayFromTheEcclesCakes - I deduce that you like to eat Eccles cakes. But are health conscious.

WorraLiberty · 18/05/2012 13:16

I'm a bit scared of "worra" she gave me a biscuit once and I was new and thought it was like calling a truce so I gave one back!

Did I? Oh well at least the pair of us didn't go hungry Grin

bejeezus · 18/05/2012 13:16

Have realised from starting this thread, that I tend to remember the posters I like and not remember those I don't like

I like my mumsnetters to he direct and forthright, and those that don't get indignant at cussing. Don't like posters who resort to calling people 'love' and 'dear' as an attempt to patronise. I don't need to agree with you, to like you

Most of you on this thread I like

And talcandturnip someone mentioned her earlier on...she's good

A very polite poster who I always remember because I agree with everything she says is sunshineandbooks

I imagine porcamiseria to be well polished and refined Grin

EatsBrainsAndLeaves · 18/05/2012 13:17

Fanjo - Interesting, you always come across here as intelligent, sensible, calm and confident imo.

Stepawayfromtheecclescakes - A generous figure perhaps?

fanjoforthemammaries7850 · 18/05/2012 13:18

Eats - thanks, I try Grin

fanjoforthemammaries7850 · 18/05/2012 13:18

and Eats you come across as funny and decent

EatsBrainsAndLeaves · 18/05/2012 13:18

bejeezus - So dear who do you not like on this thread?

Shakey1500 · 18/05/2012 13:19

Eats Dost thou have pedant tendancies? ;)

EatsBrainsAndLeaves · 18/05/2012 13:19

Thanks Fanjo - I do try

fanjoforthemammaries7850 · 18/05/2012 13:20

Bejeezus yes, you can't say "I like MOST of the people on the thread" without saying who you dislike (probably moi!)

I haven't seen you around much but am sure my overall impression was positive and not negative

EatsBrainsAndLeaves · 18/05/2012 13:21

Shakey - Yes, but not very accurate ones Blush. For example I started a chat thread asking for a NN and the one I have was suggested. It was very late at night in my defence, but I then changed my NN from zombiegames to EatsBrainsThenLeaves. I realised my mistake the next morning.

porcamiseria · 18/05/2012 13:22

I cant work out if we are making assesments cos of usernames, or past postings? both?

shakey, I am assuming a shaking steven fan? is this where you like to hang when not MNing?
