Haha, realise I am probably going to get shot down in flames for being self-indulgent and attention seeking, but hope for a few answers also....

I build up a picture of MNets in my head from what they write, how they write and the subjects they post on. Sometimes I come across an opinion on a thread from a poster that really suprises me because Otto doesn't fit with the impression I had of that poster and so my poster persona evolves. I love eclectic 'odd' people in RL, so I really enjoy not being able to pigeon hole people

I have always been a bit fascinated by how other peoples interpretations of words and actions can be very different from the intention. And also how people can be very different depending what company they are in....

So, it occurred to me today, MN is a perfect opportunity to ask alias of people 'what do you think of me?' (if anything)!

2 kids - Sure I read a post somewhere that you said you had 2 kids
Late 20's - just average age to have 2 kids
Hippylike/laid back/slightly messy house - Just the choice of name which is basically a laid back way of telling your kids to shut up.

i recognise your name but cant think from what thread or if a agreed or disagreed with you!

there are def some posters that i recognise and find myself agreeing with often exoticfruits springs to mind :)

and there are others i recognise from certain types of discussions ie pnd or bfeeding etc.

there are some lovely mnetters i have the pleasure of knwoing in rl life but i often forget their mnet names!

i was 4madboys before becoming 5madthings and i am sure some will recognise me for a particular thread i did under my old name!

oh and flissflapps has posted on some threads that i have and recently had a MASSIVE baby so kudos to her, i followed/stalked her a bit when she was overdue and was pleased to here she had had her baby :)

i also 'know' some posters as they are on another forum that i use!

I take each thread as it comes, so I might think you are a voice of reason on one thread, then forget you and think you are a twat of highest order on another thread

I always think if I go to a MN meet up and talk to posters whose names I have seen here, that they will all look like very well groomed yummy mummies with expensive clothes and beautiful manners. Whereas I am the clumsy bugger trying to dab out the wine stain on the blouse I have just put on and blushing furiously with embarassment

Yes exactly, and if it were a meet up with kids mine would be the ones moaning and being pains in the arses and drinking fruit shoots whilst everyone else's kids do jigsaws and read whilst sipping freshly pressed apple juice and wearing boden!
