I have a friend who wont date black men, not because they are black but because she does not find black men attractive, in the same way she wont date a man who has blond hair and blue eyes.

I cant work out if she is racist or it is simply her preference in men, she has many friends who are the above, but still I'm so is she racist or not

if you had posted 'because he is black she isn't attracted to him' it would read a little differently and it could be possible that this would be racist.

I think it because black men dont have it very easy. they are very stereotyped, and suffer the the most in unemployment issues. I dont think ts HUGELY easy to be a black man in 2012. Look at the US prison population

I don't find white men attractive, and don't date them (well I'm in a relationship, but I wouldn't) - I don't have anything against white men at all. Some of my best friends are white me

Sexual attraction should be discounted? For some this is important.

We all have a of some sort. physical attraction is important for me and i like 'meat heads' type men (think Phil Mitchell).

So i am discriminatory, as should anyone be, when it comes to choosing partners, unless your a prostitute, that is.

To say you don't find black men attractive you are implying ALL black men look the same, have exactly the same physical attributes. I actually think that is a racist thing to say. You are dismissing a whole race of person because you think "they all look the same".

All blondes don't have exactly the same shade of hair, I can still say I don't find blonde hair attractive.
