Just seen his face on bbciplayer being interviewed by Mark lawson. When did this skinny smug poo smear become a national treasure or whatever? And don't even l,et me remember the days when he hung out with the Baddiel thing and it was like a version of those boys at school who were nasty little sneering sods, sat in the corner being vile.

flapper there was a thread on here recently about someone and her friend who had met Rob Newman, which would put you off. It did me, anyway. I'll try and find it for you.

He taught me at Halesowen College in the late eighties.He was just starting off in stand up and he was actually a really nice bloke. It does seem that the persona that he began to use for his stand up routines has taken over.He was my English and Theatre Studies lecturer and it's a wonder I came out with any grades at all.Tried his new routines out on us and I can honestly say that I have never met such a funny and intelligent man.

DS and my BIL have both met him several times and seem to like him. Mind you, as they are all WBA fans (that's where they've met), maybe fellow-feeling accounts for a lot of that....

i've met him socially quite a few times and i find him really, really creepy.

YouOld..., do you find Rob Newman dreamy NOW, or are you talking about him from the early 90's? Having seen one of his shows recently, you may find there's quite a difference!

I met him once 1997 in Liverpool he was involved in the Hillsborough concert that went on at the time. I can catergorically state he was not into anal on that night .
