OP posts:
YankNCock · 02/03/2012 10:31

oh yes, please explain poo troll, I also missed that

aquashiv · 02/03/2012 10:32

Its better than Eastenders. I am rather worried that there seems to be too many normal posts who wants that?

has zeebrugge finally been proven then?

Hullygully · 02/03/2012 10:34

Oh there was a whole spate of threads about poo: I've pooed myself in the supermarket/station toilet/space shuttle with loads of detail, lingeringly and lovingly described...

OP posts:
YankNCock · 02/03/2012 10:34

oohhhhhhhhh, BeerTricks, was it that one where someone went to the station with a change of clothes for a person who didn't exist?

Methe · 02/03/2012 10:36

Oh Confused. Was it someone with a fetish or a 12 year old?

I was on a poo thread recently.. I found of fascinating Blush

Poo troll less offensive than child abuse/rape/berevement/orphan trolls. I always used to quite enjoy the funny trolling.. like the hamster in the casserole.. hilarious!

Wanker trolls are spoiling it for everyone :(

Missed hamster in the casserole

TuftyFinch · 02/03/2012 10:38

What sort of gratification could you get from making up poo stories though? Although
I went to a club once (just once) and there was a black holdall on the floor. Zipped up.
There was a man inside.
There were also people wandering around with IV tubes up there noses.

TuftyFinch · 02/03/2012 10:38

their, there, they're.

their

YankNCock · 02/03/2012 10:39

oh good, then I didn't miss much, aside from shitty cottonbuds.

Hullygully · 02/03/2012 10:41

That sounds a good club, Tufty. Maybe he was that man who worked for MI6.

OP posts:
lesley33 · 02/03/2012 10:42

tuftyfinch - wan as women poist responses to your made up poo situation.

wannaBe · 02/03/2012 10:42

tbh, I fail to see how anyone fell for the pooh troll. or the "I've fallen down the stairs and have broken a leg" troll. not remotely plausible, especially when you take into account that they were first time posters. so - you fall down the stairs and break a leg, but you can get to a computer, create an account on a website, and post for help, or you're up shit creek in a toilet, and you are distressed, but still have the foresight to namechange to post on the internet for help? I don't think so. I think that while absolutely it's possible to be sucked in by the emotional trolls, when it comes to trolls like the pooh troll then the victims need to take a bit of responsibility for being so bloody gullible.

Old.

Jins · 02/03/2012 10:44

I fell (a bit) for one of the poo troll's threads. It was extremely convincing to start with but built into a crescendo at which point I realised it was not likely to be real.

I'm gutted I've never seen a poo thread Sad

Sounds like fun.

Now then-re reporting, are you just supposed to report if you have suspicions? Even tiny suspicions? I know you're not supposed to bunfight on the thread, alas, but I never get round to thinking I should report (slow and dim), and MNHQ never seem to do anything anyway!!

tantrumsandballoons · 02/03/2012 10:50

I just think its a shame because people share really personal experiences to try and help, just to find out that it was all an attention seeking joke.

I don't understand what people get out of it tbh, it's a shame that everyone is suspicious now, but it's really hard to be any other way

TuftyFinch · 02/03/2012 10:51

OOh lesley. No! Really?

Beer maybe we should hire one for the next Mumsnet meet up. Are they a reasonable price?

Maryz I don't know what thread that was but ffs.

Hully it was in Vauxhall. There was also a lot of spanking. Spanking of not just bottoms. It was all too much for my poor sheltered mind. I had never seen the like.

lesley33 · 02/03/2012 10:53

Didn't see the rape one, but that sounds awful Sad

With poo one...I think some peopke are naturally more suspicious than others. tbh when I first starting posting on here it wouldn't even have occurred to me to think people were making things up and the cries of trolls confused me. In fact one of my early AIBU posts basically said AIBU to think what people post on mns is largely true [naive emoticon]
