You know how it is, you speak.. no-one appears to hear, you clean, no-one cares, you cook, its yucky etc etc etc.
Well yes and I just accepted that as part of the motherhood deal, but thought MN was somewhere I might get noticed/ heard/ interacted with, but so many times I post and never get a thanks or even a WTF? I am beginning to feel like I am still at home............. anyone out there?

I've chimed in on all sorts of threads

I've started numerous threads on numerous boards

I even went to the MN CHristmas meetup

NO one every recognises me, talks to me or answers my posts. I've has about 4 PMs in my whole MN life.

Meh... I'm over it. I've got enough hang-ups in RL to add cyberweb hangups to the mix

I considered flouncing. But decided I like MN too much to bother with the kerfuffle. I've decided it's a bit like Sudoku. I put in far more than I get back......

I'm sorry you feel invisible. But you just can't think that way re Mumsnet. You've got to enjoy it and be entertained/infuriated/enlightened, dip in and out and accept some posters are recognised largely because they post an awful lot (and, yes, often are witty or particularly intelligent, but really it is about how prolific someone is). But if you are on a 'notice me, notice me' tip then yes I do think you need to address your RL needs iyswim?
