To think I am as invisible on MN as I am at home?

You know how it is, you speak.. no-one appears to hear, you clean, no-one cares, you cook, its yucky etc etc etc.
Well yes and I just accepted that as part of the motherhood deal, but thought MN was somewhere I might get noticed/ heard/ interacted with, but so many times I post and never get a thanks or even a WTF? I am beginning to feel like I am still at home............. anyone out there?

That is obviously my problem!
I need to get over to AIBU more often and act like a twat Grin

cherrytopping · 25/02/2012 18:17

sparkysparrow I hate to break it to you, but we ALL sound like twats (to someone at least). Once you know and accept this, it no longer is relevant.

Thumbwitch · 25/02/2012 22:12

Ooo, I feel vaguely uplifted that leQueen recognises me!

Gaunyersel - don't namechange, and another way to get yourself better known (if you can handle it Wink) is to use Scottish dialect in your posts - people who don't know will ask you what it means, other Scottish posters will nod along, and people will recognised your "style". :)

I recognise lots of people on here, too many to namecheck - but just wanted to let everlong know that she's one of them. Not that she's likely to care cos she probably doesn't know me from Adam either! Grin

It was taken well, but I felt like such a stalker :s so I'm not doing it any more!

ledkr · 26/02/2012 18:31

you're all right LeQ - I'm sure if there were any tainting going on I've managed it all by myself! Grin

I like tulips' name as well, although am finding the "hamster jam" concept mildly disturbing...

Thumbwitch · 27/02/2012 04:57
