come along dear

Scroll down and there's a photo of him and his lovely wife Nancy. Macca has always looked ridiculous in photos except when he was young and dishy but he looks like he's soiled himself in this one. Nancy looks like his carer who's trying to coax him to walk a bit further so they can go home and clean him up Grin Very fetching yellow tracksuit too Macca Hmm
If he was my dad I would never lift my head out of my hands

feeling a bit confused at the photo though....whys is meant to be funny?

Mya2403 · 15/02/2012 22:17

Oh OP you are so right, I was thinking along similar lines.

bringbacksideburns · 15/02/2012 22:17

I've met his brother. Now he is a wanker.

And he wore leather trousers. Mike Macca not Thumbsaloft. It was the 1980's. But still. No one really carried off leather trousers apart from Jim Morrison did they? Certainly not a man who looked like a lecherous acountant.

lostboysfallin · 15/02/2012 22:19

I have really met him and I know a few people who really know him. Thanks clawdy
I assume you do too?

GreenEyesAndHam · 15/02/2012 22:25

I've decided I'm going to do 'showbiz fingers' at every available opportunity at work tomorrow.

And if the opportunities don't crop up, then dammit I'll create them

QuickLookBusy · 15/02/2012 22:26

Heather Mills was a looney before she married Macca. He didn't make her that way.

She has serious issues with telling the truth before Macca and it has continued, as the judge in her divorce case verified.

lostboysfallin · 15/02/2012 22:29

arr, Mike McCartney is lovely.
Can't comment on his fashion sense!

LaughingGas · 15/02/2012 22:30

As the old question goes #heather what was it about the multi millionaire rock star paul mccartney that attracted you to him? Grin

DeliasucksonaWednesday · 15/02/2012 22:31

Blimey! There always has to be some thread joy-sucker-outer doesn't there! My poor tired brain can only cope with these sort of lighthearted threads at the moment and some spoil sports have to come over on the moral high ground whining that anyone having a laugh is either jealous or disrespectful. Off with you, thread joy-sucker-outers. Shoo. Go to knitters corner and tut over there!

Clawdy · 15/02/2012 22:32

lostboysfallin I do indeed and can tell you do too. Twas the other poster I was doubting....

So now it's time to diss his kids too. What's the matter with you lot? Poisonous and pointless...

DeliasucksonaWednesday · 15/02/2012 22:38

Hide the thread, Stella Clawdy

SuePurblybilt · 15/02/2012 22:38

It's only the vegetarian business that is saving us from Sir Thumbsaloft in leather trews, so be grateful for small mercies.
He'll prolly do double-denim (like Cliff and Daniel O'Donnell) instead. Double denim and tracksuits: Living the dream, Matalan style.

SuePurblybilt · 15/02/2012 22:40

Oh. Cross posted with crossness.
I fear the pertinent moment for leather trews observations has passed.
As you were Confused

DeliasucksonaWednesday · 15/02/2012 22:44

Awww Daniel O'Donnell. There needs to be a special retirement home for the lot of them. They could spend their remaining days chatting about tracksuits, double demin, hair dye and Regaine. Don't get me started with Cliff. He definitely has a painting in the attic.

GreenEyesAndHam · 15/02/2012 22:46

Yy to double denim

bringbacksideburns · 15/02/2012 22:46

Well, i really hope Mike became a Vegetarian soon after because the leather trews were not a good look back then.

DeliasucksonaWednesday · 15/02/2012 22:47

Mike who?

SuePurblybilt · 15/02/2012 22:48

Slice it where you like - Macca, Cliff and Dazza o'D have a fine head of hair, each of them. Maybe too much.
No call for Regaine in that sheltered housing.

I love this thread - I thought I was the only one whose teeth itch with annoyance when I see Thumbsalof and the sullen Stella

GreenEyesAndHam · 15/02/2012 22:51

He was a beautiful young man as well. A bit odd looking, but beautiful.

Before he became Mr Bertie Bouffant-Botox

DeliasucksonaWednesday · 15/02/2012 22:52

I think they've already been a bit heavy handed with it Sue, hence their fine heads full. I think they might still have all their own teeth though.

SuePurblybilt · 15/02/2012 22:52

He was lovely. I have worked through my mourning for his prettiness on other threads Grin
I shall remember him how he was and mock his shell suits now.
