come along dear

Scroll down and there's a photo of him and his lovely wife Nancy. Macca has always looked ridiculous in photos except when he was young and dishy but he looks like he's soiled himself in this one. Nancy looks like his carer who's trying to coax him to walk a bit further so they can go home and clean him up Grin Very fetching yellow tracksuit too Macca Hmm
If he was my dad I would never lift my head out of my hands

OP posts:

I didn't coin Thumbs Aloft but I do love it.

I don't actually mind Macca. I feel a bit bad slagging him off on here with all of you hags, tbh.

Stella OTOH, can fuck right off. With her face like a disapproving shrew.

SuePurblybilt · 15/02/2012 17:21

David Attenborough does that old-man careful sitting down that gives me a split second, but graphic, mental flash of his elderly meat'n'two. It's connected with him taking too long to sit, for some reason my mind sort of mentally rearranges his danglers for him. But that's my issue. Can't blame him. sit the fuck down, it's only a slippery rock.

Judi Dench? Caah.

FaithHopeAndKevin · 15/02/2012 17:23

It's the shell suit and the dyed hair.... I can't help but think money can't buy taste how rich he is and yet...

Sparklingbrook · 15/02/2012 17:25

IIRC it was Smash Hits that always referred to him as 'fab Macca Thumbs aloft' for some reason. Confused

SarahStratton · 15/02/2012 17:28

Photo 3

Dude looks like a lady Grin

BrightnessFalls · 15/02/2012 17:29

I think in this photo he looks at least twenty years older than her. Which he is. Unfortunate choice of track suit but, Nancy doesnt look her usual stylish self either.

I really dont care. Ive heard he's an arse in rl. I guess you would be arrogant though, given the talent he had has.

He's nearly 70. What do you want him to wear first thing on a morning?

BupcakesandCunting · 15/02/2012 17:30

"What do you want him to wear first thing on a morning?"

A full-on Carmen Miranda get up.

NorthernWreck · 15/02/2012 17:31

I think Stella is like a conniving gerbil.

GetOrfMoiiLand · 15/02/2012 17:32

I always laugh at that Sun headline the day after the divorce hearing when Heather hurled a glass of water over the Camilla Parker Bowles lookylikey solicotor, Fiona Shackleton.

Mucka Soaksa Shacka (or something)

SydSaid · 15/02/2012 17:40

Am I the only person thats really shocked by this thread?

A woman died too young, leaving an 18 year old girl devastated having lost her mother.

And people think it's okay to laugh at someone leaving flowers in her memory?

For the record, I am not a fan of Whitney (I am not a fan of warbly female singers at all), and I am not a fan of Macca (but I do love the Beatles), but this thread is just in SUCH poor taste it's unreal.

BupcakesandCunting · 15/02/2012 17:43

Oh Syd. FGS.

SuePurblybilt · 15/02/2012 17:44

Ackcherly, the pistol pic was him at the Baftas or Brits or something. Nowt to do with anyone dead.
Still a tragedy though.

GetOrfMoiiLand · 15/02/2012 17:44

Oh shurrup, we are not laughing at Whitney's trousers or something.

Sparklingbrook · 15/02/2012 17:45

No Syd, we are discussing Paul McCartney's taste in jogging attire. Confused

SydSaid · 15/02/2012 17:46

I guess it's just me that sees them as real people with real emotions then. Tell you what, I'll publically laugh at a photo of you paying respects to someone that you know that has died - and see how funny that is.

GetOrfMoiiLand · 15/02/2012 17:47

Go on then.

Here is the photo of me putting flowers on Eva Perons grave whilst wearing ski pants. <a class="break-all" href="http://www.google.co.uk/imgres?q=rod+jane+and+freddy&um=1&hl=en&safe=active&sa=N&biw=1044&bih=496&tbm=isch&tbnid=ofR_khSy-hIxxM:&imgrefurl=www.virginmedia.com/tvradio/cult-tv/trivia/kids-tv-where-are-they-now.php&docid=iNfoow9Z2fi31M&imgurl=www.virginmedia.com/images/rod-jane-freddy-then.jpg&w=431&h=300&ei=g-87T9rFHYr48QPV54D4Cg&zoom=1&iact=hc&vpx=387&vpy=155&dur=1154&hovh=187&hovw=269&tx=168&ty=108&sig=106871752182801590200&page=1&tbnh=138&tbnw=191&start=0&ndsp=10&ved=1t:429,r:2,s:0" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">don't cry

Sparklingbrook · 15/02/2012 17:48

Oh Syd I think you are having a sense of humour failure. Sad

BupcakesandCunting · 15/02/2012 17:48

Syd is blates Stella.

SydSaid · 15/02/2012 17:50

If this is 'funny' then I must be having a complete sense of humour failure, and I don't mind admitting it. I don't think laughing at people paying respects to others is funny, regardless of what they are wearing. I'm shocked that so many people do.

BupcakesandCunting · 15/02/2012 17:50

Well bugger off then!

GetOrfMoiiLand · 15/02/2012 17:50

We are not laugjing at his paying respects per se.

We are laughing at his gormless face and tracksuit from the gates of hell.

SydSaid · 15/02/2012 17:51

Why? The op is asking is a question, surely my opinion is just as valid as anyone else's?

GetOrfMoiiLand · 15/02/2012 17:52
kreecherlivesupstairs · 15/02/2012 17:52

Is that a new language cunting.
I always call him peacesignPaul. Every photo I've ever seen of him, not those obviously, he has his peace fingers on. Looks like someone's nicked his fag.
Syd are you AKA Stella or Mary?

GetOrfMoiiLand · 15/02/2012 17:53

Syd is the ghost of Linda
