To be fair to Sir Thumbs though, he has been photographed almost constantly since 1962. That's fifty years of having to pull a photoface at any moment of the day. Muscle memory must take over at some stage, whether you like it or not. My mum has a similar photoface and now she can't see a camera without automatically whipping off her glasses and hiding them behind her back.

That doesn't excuse the tracksuit top, though. It's definitely tipping over into Jim'll territory. Would Bryan Ferry wear a shell suit? I think hope not.

That's hysterical, love your description which I read prior to opening photo so had a mental image already but the photo was even better! Not a macca fan at all. I don't mind Heather too much, a friend used to work for her and really liked her although they did fall out in the end, she seems to fall out with a lot of people. However I've not forgiven her yet for turning the cafe in the park into a VEGAN cafe where we have to have tea with soya milk in blurgh and yuck, don't go to that park as much now.

If you look at the picture where Thumbs Aloft is bending to place the bunch of bedraggled roses down, his hair looks like it's been coiffured by Gloria Hunniford's hairdresser. Proper womans blow dry, that.
