AIBU to think the SAHM MNers rattling off lists of daily feats

they are heroically accomplishing while being SAHMs (cooking, washing, ironing, etc) are being at best naive and at worst disingenuous. Who do they think does all that stuff in the non-SAHMs' households, house elves?

And you know what ELSE? My house is immaculate because I paid someone to come and do my housework for me. I wonder if she'd object to me changing her job title to House Elf?

I'm not cooking (might heat up some soup later, does that count?) or ironing (in fact I no longer own an iron as I lost custody in the divorce settlement), though have just stuck a duvet in the wash because the sodding cat was sick on it, but I've got cbeebies on so I can go on the internet with a cup of tea and secret chocolate to make up for it. Do I win something? I'm also on benefits because no fucker will give me a job, if that gets me extra points. Unless, oh no, does that make me not a proper SAHM because I'm not doing it on purpose?

It's just so hard not fitting in with the ladies who lunch crowd or the power suits r us crew. I did have my breakfast at IKEA this morning in between seeing clients though...no sure if that helps.

What about an I am so unhappy my DP is low paid as he only earns 60k a year. AIBU to be annoyed that he is so low paid?
