i dont think it is right wing to say we need to balance our books. the debt is currently 16k for each person. if we choose not to pay it off, we have to pay the interest.

if you have an avergage 4 person family, they have to service 64k every year. so you pay tax but onone benefits. about 2k per year. where it get interesting is this: who is the interest paid to: other governments and banks. who underwrites UK banks if they face crisis? we do.
