I'm not a parent, and I'm here :)

AnyFuckerForAMincePie · 27/12/2011 14:38

Oh, I am so happy that bmx's are still around

I can be happy about that, despite not being remotely interested in bikes

Youllbewaiting · 27/12/2011 14:42

Exactly. But to the uninitiated you would think it's a site about parenting, when it's so much more than that.

So MN is open to all people. So if someone wants to come on and disagree that's there choice, some people just like arguing and being annoyed.

I don't have young children any more

and I like the fact that men and child-free women also use the site

HandDivedScallopsrgreat · 27/12/2011 14:45

No problem with disagreement. Lots of problem with being told what to do and how to feel as I said earlier.

chibi · 27/12/2011 14:45

Anyone can certainly come on, but it strikes me as well, weird when someone who clearly does not like the place, its ethos and posters, and who repeatedly indicates this, going so far as to announce they are leaving, more than once (!) yet keeps coming back

AnyFuckerForAMincePie · 27/12/2011 14:46

yup, chibi

and repeats that cycle, ad infinitum Xmas Smile

HandDivedScallopsrgreat · 27/12/2011 14:49

It's as if he wants us all to change for him. But that can't be the case surely. That would be just so arrogant and presumptuous.

AnyFuckerForAMincePie · 27/12/2011 14:53

it must be so frustrating for him though, when we refuse to see his POV

he deserves some womanly kindness and softness, surely ?

do you like bmx's, nicey ? < tilts head winsomely >

it reminds me of something you know... oh what do you call it? a massive sense of entitlement.

AnyFuckerForAMincePie · 27/12/2011 17:36

oh that ?

that's just boys being boys

isn't it ?

Reading this thread explains why the feminist section gets little traffic.
Nowhere would you see so many passive aggressive hurt offended individuals who look for the bad in everything and everyone.
Empty vessels springs to mind here.

yellowraincoat · 29/12/2011 02:57

Yes, and reading this thread reminds me why I get annoyed with non-feminists.
Nowhere would you see so many passive aggressive hurt offended individuals who look for the bad in...oh.

xyfactor · 29/12/2011 03:12

I you're seriously getting annoyed you should take a break?
Unless you actually like being annoyed?
In which case carry on and enjoy the feeling.

yellowraincoat · 29/12/2011 03:17

Why would I enjoy being annoyed?

Oh I SEE this is a feminist thing, right? Feminists get ANNOYED.

xyfactor · 29/12/2011 03:21

You stated that it annoys you.

I'm unjoining from a conversation with you because you might get overly agitated and chip a fingernail on your keyboard.
Happy new year over and out.

exoticfruits · 29/12/2011 07:43

I expect that a lot of people are like me, they never seek out the feminist section but threads come up when you look at the last 15 mins and sometimes you can't resist getting drawn in, although experience tells you that you will regret it and should continue scrolling down!
