I am spitting mad! I don't care if this thread turns into a 'to hit or not to hit your child' thread. It should be illegal, there is NO excuse! indiscipline your child the correct way.

This 'father' needs to do time. Serious time. As the useless mother.

Here is the story.

"2004: Aransas County Court-At-Law Judge William Adams took a belt to his own teenage daughter as punishment for using the internet to acquire music and games that were unavailable for legal purchase at the time. She has had ataxic cerebral palsy from birth that led her to a passion for technology, which was strictly forbidden by her father's backwards views.

The judge's wife was emotionally abused herself and was severely manipulated into assisting the beating and should not be blamed for any content in this video. The judge's wife has since left the marriage due to the abuse, which continues to this day, and has sincerely apologized and repented for her part and for allowing such a thing, long before this video was even revealed to exist. Judge William Adams is not fit to be anywhere near the law system if he can't even exercise fit judgement as a parent himself. Do not allow this man to ever be re- elected again. Well I've no idea what the laws are in Texas, other than they have the death penalty so I'm guessing corporal punishment is probably still legal also.

It is distressing to watch but I think the more people who see it will spur on appropriate action to the 'father'.

I wouldnt be surprised if that man puts his hands on his daughter in other ways. The way he was just tossing her around and hitting her excessively was the worse thing I have ever seen and makes me highly suspicious. I understand spankings, but something wasnt right about that. I mean to hit her and curse at her even when she was broken down to the floor. Its almost like he was overdoing it to cover up for something else. And the mother probably knows it which is why she enjoys seeing her daughter beat so hard and showing her dominance.

I watched that with 15 mo old dd in the room, I just don't get it. The way hr threw her around as if she was nothing. Disgusting.

That poor girl. And this man is a family judge. He rules on cases involving children- I hope that no one else has suffered because of this, and that his own behaviour hasn't effected the decisions he's made. The thought that he may have dealt with cases involving abuse while doing that is horrifying. He obviously had no problem with dealing it out so who knows how he looked at cases where there was abuse or allegations of it.

It says here that a visiting judge will be dealing with any cases involving children for the next week. I hope that's made permanent and he loses his job.

That's the USA for you. He should be behind bars and all the more so for being a judge himself. This won't have been the first time either. What a vile bastard.

I'm guessing she left the webcam on on her computer. Either because she knew this would happen, or because it was just on, incidentally.
