I was just browsing a computer forum ( I sometimes take a cheeky dive into the post a picture of yourself thread, some of the guys on there have some lovely jumpers) and I noticed they had a mumsnet thread.
Do you think this thread has good criticism about us? HERE
Sorry I am using a throwaway account as I don't want that forum to know that I am a girl who just goes there to look at the pictures of them.

It's like gangs in the playground!

Anyway who are all these people coming here to tell us that others are talking about us?

Everyone knows that real mumsnetters don't have time for other forums!

ler's hope, guys (and geek girl) that you don't resort to upsetting people in need just to get your kicks. It happened here before and it wasn't pretty or a good representation of the forum who did it. You are right, board wars are horrible.

They were asking why Mumsnet appears to have so much political power.

Which I thought in a democratic society was a fair comment.

Another thread on forum rivalry.

Why do people take this so serious.

youllbewaiting - that's fair enough, and a decent question. Unfortunately it then descended into childish stereotyping and offensive namecalling.

yeah in all fairness the op isn't that bad, shame the rest of the posts don't even attend to enter into a debate about it.

Sorry, didn't realise the Hovis thing was meant to be secret. Really ought to get around to registering instead of merely lurking. I'm on your side, honest. They're all mad here.

Though they can swear, unlike you lot. Hmm.

I think some people take this site far too seriously.

Still who cares what a bunch of over the hill middle aged women with stretch marks and wizards sleeves think*

I love how both the recent forums that were slagging us off discussing us can't swear Grin
