to wonder if we might need a whole new section for dedicated Frothing Berserkers?

There seem to be a lot of people at the moment who really enjoy a good old frothing berserker. Wouldn't it be a good idea to give them a section of their own so they could all really enjoy themselves and leave the rest of us alone?

Of course i will leave off them. I am not a nasty person and was just having a bit of fun. Once again i apologise and will go and post on some other more serious threads now.

VajazzleMyBroomstick · 06/10/2011 14:54

Scared to get back on through fear of been shouted at again Grin

LissieLovettsDeliciousPies · 06/10/2011 14:54

TSC, Im sorry that you are offended. Ive not read the thread you are referring to, and as I said earlier, have been taking the piss out of the permanently outraged. posters who report a post calling someone a daft cow, because its childish. posters who screech "leave him" if dh puts the milk in first. that type of thing.

got carried away with the text speak, because I find it very annoying.

Moominsarescary · 06/10/2011 14:55

Where I live lots of teenagers / early 20 something's talk like this. It's all put on, every single one of them can talk normally Theyve just chosen not too. I've never met anyone who's parents talk like it ( over 35)

Therefore it's not taking the piss out of the working class, it's taking the piss out of people choosing to talk like a nobber

I hate it when people ruin funny threads

BupcakesandCunting · 06/10/2011 14:56

I don't know about any child abuse thread, either. Confused

BupcakesandCunting · 06/10/2011 14:57

Oh I don't know Moomin. My mother talks in text speak and it drives me batshit. I hate it. It takes me an hour to decipher her texts. Take her 20 seconds to write it, takes me an hour to read it. Hmm

LissieLovettsDeliciousPies · 06/10/2011 14:58

oh, I remember my db's girlfriend texting me once. I actually rang her up to get a translation!

Hullygully · 06/10/2011 14:59

Po po po

It was taking the piss out of exclamation marks and hysteria and did kind of wobble into txt spk which fitted.

But it was jolly funny. Don't cave so easily Vajazzle wot a wanker u is

I hate it. I honestly hate it. I don't even think it's an age/class thing.

It's a twat/not twat thing.

I am sure someone will be along to beg to differ and use me as a case in point very soon.

BupcakesandCunting · 06/10/2011 15:00

uh oh

BEATINS 4 HULLY

GetOrfMo1Land · 06/10/2011 15:01

I don't think this thread is purely about the pinching thread, i have been moaning on about exclamation marks and daft typind and general thickos for ages.

I am not getting in too much of a froth about the OP in that thread anyway because I am not certain anyone can do anything about it. OP seems a bit browbeaten and possibly in a relationship where her DH's family make the decisions. Not good, admittedly, but there have been loads of threads like that which make your heart sink about the childrne, but getting into a complete tearful rage in MN isn't helpful to anyone.

Believe me (and I don't want this to make me sound like a top trumps twat) but I am as working class as they come, was a teenage parent, and suffered horrible physical abuse as a kid, and I don't think anyone is being offensive on this thread. Just some mickey taking of the general daftness of the way some people post.

GetOrfMo1Land · 06/10/2011 15:02

'daft typind'

Oh dear...

Hullygully · 06/10/2011 15:02

Yep the op says it all.

Now where were we?

I particularly liked "drs r all cunts"

GetOrfMo1Land · 06/10/2011 15:17

That thread tbh is the type which I avoid posting on now in general, because it is emotive and I tend not to post on such threads because I am not sure if they are real or not. I just don't want to get involved tbh. I only posted because of some of the madness posts which were just stirring up a general shriekiness were just not helpful to anyone.

There is a lot of class snottiness on MN sometimes and I hate that - but i don't think that this thread is like that really.

JenaiMarrHePlaysGuitar · 06/10/2011 15:17

What does "bruk" mean, moomins?

KittyFane · 06/10/2011 15:18

dnt u tnk?

Hullygully · 06/10/2011 15:19

I am the first to pipe up when there is snottiness about people's pleather choices.

But this ain't that.

This is the frothers.
