to wonder if we might need a whole new section for dedicated Frothing Berserkers?

There seem to be a lot of people at the moment who really enjoy a good old frothing berserker. Wouldn't it be a good idea to give them a section of their own so they could all really enjoy themselves and leave the rest of us alone?

I was once appalled about people allowing their DCs to chase pigeons.

TheVermiciousKnid · 06/10/2011 17:49

Hmm. On second thoughts, maybe I give all this frothy berserkerage malarky a miss. It seems too much like hard work. I don't think I can be bothered.

(Terry's All Gold. Honestly, couldn't DH have bought something a bit classier? Now, there is something to get all berserkery about. Maybe I'll give it a go after all.)

LissieLovettsDeliciousPies · 06/10/2011 17:54

Oooooh, I'm in wisdom tooth hell and haven't had a proper meal in 3w. What I wouldn't give for an all gold. You don't know how lucky you are, there are people all over the world deprived of chocolate, and there you are whinging about not getting the good stuff????? You should be utterly ashamed!!!!!!!! This is how you raise your children????? To be ungracious and vile??!!!!!

I went absolutely beserk once at a twat who clouted her teenage dd round the face.

I think frothiness comes to us all.

What I didn't do though was say 'you can't do that because Roxy from Hollyoaks was hit by her mum and she was sent daaahhhn'

TheVermiciousKnid · 06/10/2011 17:58

Argh, I'm sorry Lissie!!!! I'm sorry, sorry, sorry!!!! Please forgive me. :( Here, have the rest of the Terry's All Gold they are pretty vile anyway.

See, I'm not cut out for berserkerdom, frothy or otherwise. :( I am a huge big berserker fail. :(

TalcAndTurnips · 06/10/2011 18:02

If we haven't got time to get proper Frothily Beserked, is it ok to get Mildly Piqued, or a Bit Browned Off?

We all lead, busy, full lives and some of us may not have room in our days for full-blown beserkery. When I've finished the washing-up, I like to just sit down with a cup of tea and watch a bit of Miss Marple of an evening.

I suppose I could pencil in a slot on alternate Wednesdays - how about 1830 - after the news?

LissieLovettsDeliciousPies · 06/10/2011 18:03

well you should have thought of that earlier but your dh does dound like a twat for being so inconsiderate.... LEAVE HIM! Wink

Getorf, exactly. We all have moments of apoplectic outrage, but some people seem to almost get their jollies from it.

My parents brought me a box of Terry's All Gold after I had ds. I pushed a 7lb baby out and they brought me Terry's farkin' All Gold!

(ragily)

TheVermiciousKnid · 06/10/2011 18:09

Yep, I think you're right. I should leave him over the Terry's All Gold. Except ... I have a feeling he didn't actually buy them for me. Or maybe that's even more reason to leave him?

TalcAndTurnips · 06/10/2011 18:13
with Terry's All Gold

Is that an accurate portrayal of the scene, TheVermiciousKnid?

TheVermiciousKnid · 06/10/2011 18:15

No. I already felt a little sick from all the Terry's All Goo. After watching that I feel really sick.

I think I might even go a bit berserkery at you for this. Angry

pyjamasinbananas · 06/10/2011 18:20

This made me rofl and lol a lot. Then I checked myself and resumed chuckling and laughing a tad.

FWIW (which ain't a lot) I don't see how anyone finds this offensive although I haven't read the whole thread!

LindsayWagner · 06/10/2011 18:47

Cn I just say- and it's important that i'm cmpltly clear - when I write compactly I am NOT doing textspeak?

I hv modelled my style - for maaaany yrs - on "if u cn rd ths msj u cn bcm a scrtry & gt a gd jb"

If you are 40+ and live in London you will prob recognise the tube ad. Basically, if you were too stupid to master shorthand, you could pay to be taught how to drop your vowels.

OtterBjitch · 06/10/2011 19:04

Grin I always see that ad when anyone uses txtspk, Lindsay. It was always next to an advert for 'Office Angels' and I wondered if they were connected in some way.

TheVermiciousKnid · 06/10/2011 19:42

It is an incorrect use of the English language and makes me froth. It's not allowed.

DoubleLifeIsALifeHalved · 06/10/2011 19:48

Bollocks my irony didn't work :-( to make it clear, I LOVE this frotting thread !!!!!!!!

CreamolaFoamless · 06/10/2011 20:02

Froth is a really weird word if you say it out loud

LapsedPacifist · 06/10/2011 20:05

"if u cn rd ths msj u cn bcm a scrtry & gt a gd jb"

Grin Grin Grin

I didn't believe it back then, and I sure as FUCK wouldn't employ a scrtry nowadays who uses text-speak! Grin

LapsedPacifist · 06/10/2011 20:07

Is this now a thread for FROTTING Beserkers? Shock

Have you ever been so surrounded by OUTRAGE that you've questioned your own normalcy?

This is probably bad form, but would one of you please look at the froth here and tell me how odd I am on a scale of 1-10.

JenaiMarrHePlaysGuitar · 06/10/2011 22:33

As an aside I think it's a bit rich of Creamola to describe "froth" as weird

AbsDuWolef · 06/10/2011 22:39

That kind of thing?
