But she did then give dd a forumla bottle and probably went 8 hours before feeding her. But still. It seems a little incautious to me.

Oh how lovely Starlight! Congratulations! I'm about 9 wks now, I took 3 tests including a digi and DH was suspicious of all of them bless him.

i have known HV advise a glass of wine if you are struggling to breast feed as it helps you relax.
I drank whilst breastfeeding, not a lot, but i still did it.
You'd be horrified to know that some people even drink when pregnant

I can't think of a single man I know who would give a shit either way (or even notice) if a woman he knew to be breastfeeding was having a drink.

Even if she was breastfeeding while drinking the wine (the direct delivery method, to give it its technical name.)

This is all women competing to be the best mother bullshit.

Hence "irritated" rather than "shocked" or "confused" which you would be if you genuinely thought it was harmful.
