Unequivocally yes - he's cleaning down the kitchen as we speak after spending his Friday evening making a lasagne for our friend who has just come out of hospital (prior to which he made a thai curry from scratch for our dinner).

What's not to love?

My story is v. Mills and Boon and my dh is my knight in shining armour. I have only ever loved one man: dh and there is no one else. He is a dream come true and I am his. We've been married 14 years and he's the most handsome man I've ever met.

Usual :o

Innocent- I sometimes feel sad tha he isn't the love.. a lot of people do have that kind of relationship but as they say, there are different kinds of love and it's good enough!

Initially I didn't think he was, although he was lovely.

Now, having been through good times and the truly awful I would say most definately yes.

Yes, of my life si far. I don't believe In the one, I could equally love many men I'm sure. Maybe some even more. But he's my one so far

Yup.

And he started out as a one-night-stand to get over a crappy ex. Apparently we are not good at one night stands.

Awomancalledhorse · 02/09/2011 23:06

He is. I just wish he wouldn't snore.
The other loves of my life are my football team & pet rabbits; I don't spend intimate time with the players so couldn't tell you if they snored, and rabbit snores are cute; DH is third in the league of loves of my life on this basis Grin.

Yes, sometimes i wake up before him and just stare at him, he is very beautiful in a manly way. At first i didn't think he was having come out of a very passionate/bad relationship that was all thunderbolts and butterflies. Dh was a slow burner but he's perfect for me.

I make myself want to puke, sorry.

KittyFane · 02/09/2011 23:16

AWomancalledhorse! Ughh the snoring.. that is one of the reasons why he's not mine...
Magic- I felt like that with a past love of life but he was a butterfly/ thunderbolt love.

GeneralCustardsHardHat · 02/09/2011 23:33

No. I've settled for a good man but he's not my one I feel like I've borrowed him from someone.

The longer we're together the more I dont want it to last. But I don't know if that's because he's said some bloody hurtful stuff to me lately or not

Not by a country mile.
But I traded security, for passion and now I regret it.

I feel like I've borrowed him from someone.
I asked MiL if she would have him back once - jokingly sort of she thought I was serious, was truly horrified and said no :( :o

Absolutely 100%. I've never met anyone like him before, he's the only person (including my family) that truly understand me.

Plus he's bloody gorgeous! Grin

Someone else said it. Heaven forbid that one of us should drop down dead, but in that case I know the one who was left would eventually find another "one" and that would be fine.
I don't mean "the one right now", just that I don't believe in 6 million people there's only one person out there in an entire lifetime.

Absolutely 100%. There is no one quite like my DP (who will hopefully become my DH in a few years when we are a bit older!), he always knows how to make me feel special and loved, he's such a happy and enthusiastic person, and I just can't imagine anyone more perfect! He is my whole world!

BabyDubsEverywhere · 02/09/2011 23:53

Ive loved a few (lot!) before DH. But my gosh i adore my man a million sqillions times YES!

I fancy him, i depend on him, hes stable and constant, he is supportive and has never faultered, hes a wonderful father, i respect him and he respects me, he loves me. I love him. I cant bare to even think of life without him.

But dont tell him that Wink Grin

Several DCs later, I no longer rip at his clothes & demand he takes me there & then - for a start, DCs would all say "GROSS!!".

I'm used to him, he's used to me; we're comfortable together & we manage the DCs pretty well together. Maybe in 10 years, we'll have time for each other.

Meanwhile, to quote the Tina Turner, "What's Love Got To Do With It?"
