I never thought of it that way tbj :)

Thanks kurri, lol oh dear, I may go down in history for the 'woof' thing!

On a day to day basis, I'm not very quick off the mark in a spat, but when I think up stuff like that, it bloody sticks! :o

MmeLindor. · 30/08/2011 16:17

OP
You are fecking hopeless at flouncing.

What happened to the big MN IS FULL OF BULLYING BITCHES?

I feel cheated.

Fucking woof to you, lady.

belledechocchipcookie · 30/08/2011 16:21

It takes a brave person to admit they've been a twat, good for you.

JParkson · 30/08/2011 16:28

thank you belle !

Sorry to disappoint mme, and where did I say that?! I'll sue for libel!

Woof

Coca · 30/08/2011 17:07

Having a crapolla of a day but "Well woof to you lady" has just turned it around! Can't wait to use it in RL

I agree that "controlled crying" is an odious term

You're controlling; the baby's crying.

Bizarre.

youarekidding · 30/08/2011 17:18

Read the first half of page 1. Yes one poster disagreed strongly but you came back with an extremely harsh and quite frankly rude post, with attitude. People will respond to you the way you 'speak' to them.

Your right though, if you wanted LOL Hun, I know what ya's mean, it's really hard when the bubba's stop eating then NM is the place for you.

As I am trying to see the best in everything - my resolution atm! - I would suggest a name change, and go back to weaning and ask questions, tell people what you do and IF THEY DON'T AGREE - accept it don't have a tantrum.

youarekidding · 30/08/2011 17:20

SHIT, missed a page, see you've changed names and accepted you may have over reacted. Blush

And apologies.

Oh go on then - a WOOF too. Grin

MightyQuim · 30/08/2011 17:26

Just read the thread. I wouldn't give Petit Filous or similar to a 11 month old who I was trying to get to eat a balanced diet either. Maybe some natural yoghurt and fruit. YANBU at all. Why would you want to get them used to eating that kind of sugary crap instead of a meal at 11 months?
I think you would have got a better reception though if you'd have just stood your ground on the original thread. And by mn standards you definitely didn't get a flaming.

vincentvangogh · 30/08/2011 17:30

enjoy choosing your ticker, OP.

electra · 30/08/2011 17:33

Well I've been known to give mine petit filous for breakfast. God help me, eh? I don't believe it's possible for children to be conditioned not to like sugar - we all do and even breast milk is sweet. There's about zero chance she would have taken natural yoghurt when she has an older sister posting chocolate into her mouth when I'm not looking!

electra · 30/08/2011 17:34

dd3, that is

MightyQuim · 30/08/2011 17:39

I don't think kids can be conditioned not to like sugar but I do think they can learn that if they are always offered sugary crap if they refuse a meal then refusing the meal is the way to go.
I wouldn't leave a child hungry but I'd offer 'proper' yoghurt or cheese and crackers or something.

LynetteScavo · 30/08/2011 17:42

DH and I used to pull awful faces whenever we passed the pick and mix when DS1 was little.

He has grown up to be very suspicious of sweets. Wish we'd done the same with DS2. Grin

TrickyBiscuits · 30/08/2011 17:42

I'm usually a dour and miserable cunt but 'woof to you lady' is pretty much the only thing I've ever actually laughed out loud at so far on mumsnet.

I'm sure you're delighted.

rainbowinthesky · 30/08/2011 17:45

I think I am in lurve with seeker. I always agree with her. Lurve you hunny - sending big hugs! (just preparing op for netmums)

AitchTwoOh · 30/08/2011 17:54

Grin
CreepyWeeBrackets · 30/08/2011 19:09

Ah, go on and do it! I got this name via a rebuke from scottishmammy and it isn't half as amusing.

Kudos OP and cheers for a fucking funny thread Grin
