What haven't we talked about on mumsnet before? Is there anything new left to discuss?

PuppyMonkey - lets talk about the 89 to bestwood park. DS went through a phase of learning bus timetable and routes, so I know its a purple line :o

triskaidekaphile · 23/08/2011 21:53

What pans do you have, cyb? This sounds very bizarre indeed a tad unusual...

We can talk about seeding lawns?

Crushing flower heads in the hope that they will multiply?

Or we can talk about my husband who is out now in the fog and pouring rain looking for three people who are lost in the mountains, together with the rescue team.

Or rather not. It is steep there, I am worried he will lose his footing.

EttiKetti · 23/08/2011 21:54

slightly I would say so, mine have no fittings for some boring reason I don't recall....

triskaidekaphile · 23/08/2011 21:55

Hope he will be ok, quint.

This thread is a good idea, but it's not going anywhere, Sorry but I have to tell it like it is.

Someone has to decide what the topic is going to be otherwise it will just carry on aimlessly.

QuintessentialShadow · 23/08/2011 21:56

I know I know I know!

We can talk about our favourite ice creams!

Mine is vanilla with caramelized nuts.

QuintessentialShadow · 23/08/2011 21:57

Actual nuts, of course. Hazel nuts.

StealthPolarBear · 23/08/2011 21:57

Shock QS hope you hear from him very soon

Ben & Jerry's half baked or pfish food

I have a crystal (pom) bear. My nan who has no taste bought it for me for my 21st. I display it (discreetly) because it makes me laugh and I love my Nan. She deserves a thread, she's bonkers.

The number 89 bus does not go to Bestwood, it goes to Welling.

triskaidekaphile · 23/08/2011 22:00

Corner cupboards have been talked about before!

Or could we talk about bastard phones that post things twice all the time. Although not every post so you just look like a numpty rather than someone with a technical problem.

shuckleberryfinn · 23/08/2011 22:00

How the word "read" is so messed up? sometimes I read it as "red" and sometimes I read it as "reed" and I'm almost always wrong. It can't be just me can it? It's worse than the "they're, their, there" thing

QuintessentialShadow · 23/08/2011 22:00

No, it goes to Lewisham!

Finallyspring · 23/08/2011 22:00

Can someone please take charge here ? This thread is all over the place and I don't like it.

PuppyMonkey · 23/08/2011 22:01

Or the 88 to Top Valley?

QuintessentialShadow · 23/08/2011 22:01

No, this is actually very Real Life. Random bits of conversations, joining in here and there.

Chipsycheese · 23/08/2011 22:02

Is that PORN bears or POM bears?

Chipsycheese · 23/08/2011 22:03

Have just zoomed in its pom (crisp variety)

Yes, the 89 goes from Lewisham to Wellling. I know this because it is one of my favourite bus routes. I used to sit on it from start to finish of the route when I was bunking off school. Now I use it to go to Oxleas Woods. You get amazing views of London from Shooters Hill. What's not to like with a route like that ?

QuintessentialShadow · 23/08/2011 22:03

pom bear is a snack. I think you are thinking of Yogi bear...
