What haven't we talked about on mumsnet before? Is there anything new left to discuss?

OP posts:
ApocalypseCheeseToastie · 23/08/2011 21:31

I know Shock that girl needs to wake up.

I like the dad of the twins tho, and the couple who's baby has the liver problem

mumatron · 23/08/2011 21:34

Apocalypse agreed! Tosser, him and chelsea's boyfriend.

There can't be a subject that we've missed, surely?

Tanith · 23/08/2011 21:34

The Copenhagen interpretation of quantum mechanics applied to everyday objects.

mumatron · 23/08/2011 21:35

Unless that topic is actually teen mom 2?

Andrewofgg · 23/08/2011 21:36

OP I like your screen-name. Much more imaginative than mine.

SuePurblybilt · 23/08/2011 21:36

We've had ANAL LABIA.

HTH

StealthPolarBear · 23/08/2011 21:36

trolls
the little plastic figures with brightly coloured hair that were popular in the late 80s and early 90s. I had one with green hair.

FoxyRevenger · 23/08/2011 21:37

Why do birds never just drop dead out of the sky?

They must spend a great percentage of their lives flying, so why is it not a fairly regular sight for one of them to kick the bucket mid-flight?

Hassled · 23/08/2011 21:39

I've wondered that about birds too. You'd have thought mid-flight sudden heart failure would be a recurring theme in the bird community.

cyb · 23/08/2011 21:39

Why do pans that I've cooked eggs in, or dishes that I've eaten egg from STINK when washed. Stink like...not sure really, raw egg? but stronger

Makes my whole dishwasher stink

HauntedLittleLunatic · 23/08/2011 21:39

Tatzikee....I've chatted about onions on here before....

starrychime · 23/08/2011 21:40

Gonks! I had one in the 70s made of a toilet roll covered in fur with 2 eyes stuck on. They were all the rage back then I believe, and so much more cuddly than trolls.

triskaidekaphile · 23/08/2011 21:41

Thank you Andrewofgg.:)

I am (just) too old for trolls, stealth.

Is the Copenhagen interpretation very different from other interpretations, Tanith?

OP posts:
StealthPolarBear · 23/08/2011 21:43

OK
corner cupboards, and their capacity and practicality when compared to normal cupboards ("straight on" cupboards??)

SuePurblybilt · 23/08/2011 21:44

We had Trolls the other night too. We decided that Jamie Cullum and Leo Di Caprio had the faces, but not the hair, of those trolls.

MrsDBouquet · 23/08/2011 21:45

I don't wannaaa......talk about it..........

mumatron · 23/08/2011 21:45

cyb none of my pans smell like raw eggs! Confused your obviously a minger Grin

EttiKetti · 23/08/2011 21:47

Stealth, that could be extended further into carousel Vs pullout thing Vs plain corner cupboard...

SlightlyJaded · 23/08/2011 21:49

Stealth I hate corner cupboards but they are preferable to exposed corner shelving in a kitchen - so popular in 80's/early 90's pine kitchens. They invariably come with that angled dado finish along the top and the shelves hold greasy unused cookery books and perhaps the odd crystal animal.

Actually, crystal animals. Who? Why? How much??!

StealthPolarBear · 23/08/2011 21:50

What, like crystal pom bears?

SlightlyJaded · 23/08/2011 21:50

Etti - pull out is far superior to carousel. Surely everyone accepts this?

StealthPolarBear · 23/08/2011 21:51

(btw if there is an update PLEASE start a thread to update us on the Chopsies)

ivykaty44 · 23/08/2011 21:51

education system is like a factor/battery chicken farm, there are to many in the shed to care about each one and their own needs or requiremnets, they need to be able to do certain things by the time they are 4 years old to enter school or the parents will be branded failures for not doing so.

Get them to learn for exams only, one local school to me is now getting pupils to take options one year early so they can teach the gcse for three years not two and hope of improving their results, no real thought of learning or teaching for either pupils or teachers

StealthPolarBear · 23/08/2011 21:51

well my corner cuoboards are neither, they're just sort of awkwardly shaped cupboards

SlightlyJaded · 23/08/2011 21:52

Ahhh stealth - now you see, were someone to buy me a crystal pom bear, I would be forced to display it in an ironic, quiet tribute to my DH and the good women of MN kind of way.

But other than that, why would you?
