I've always been quite anti smoking had a gran who dies of lung cancer, but since I was pregnant with DD and now that I'm out and about with her it really angers me when people are smoking in public areas, if it were up to me I'd ban smoking in all public places ie high streets, door ways to, restaurants, childrens play areas etc and don't even get me started on the bit outside the hospital and make people smoke in smoking rooms or back streets. I got abuse from a woman the other day who came over to speak to DD and puffed her smoke all over her when I asked her not to.

Too true usual suspect - we're all out there having a grand old laugh and bonding over our enjoyable unhealthy habit.

Especially if inside ,the pub is full of po faced non smokers tutting at all us fagheads outside

I once watched a programme about women in Thailand who could shoot ping pong balls out of their vaginas. One woman could smoke a fag from her vagina. I would however prob object if women starting sitting on the pavements smoking from their fannies. Truly unladylike and vulgar IMO

I know that it is bad for my health, however I am outside in an open area, do not flap your hands, hold your nose, or look at me like I have punched a puppy. I am well within my legal right to have a cigarette.

I'd like to ban fag fascists from public places, especially pubs and restaurants. That's the downside of the smoking ban- it's brought some of the most humourless and boring people on the planet into places they don't belong-pubs and restaurants.

I remember one morning in a cafe just before the smoking ban came in. I was scoffing my Full English, fagging it, getting over my hangover. And this mincy American girl started wafting her hand at me.

I was so hungover I am ashamed to say I said "FUck off back to America until the smoking ban is here, until then, this is LEGAL!" And wafted a massive outhale of smoke in her direction.

Not my finest moment. But hey. the provocation was immense.

Fabby, that's even better. I've had to switch to rollies because it's cheaper, but found I can not smoke a propper fag anymore because of it. A couple of mate have found the same thing too.

alpha, I am the same. Can't do ready mades any more, after a 20 a day B&H habit.

I prefer roll ups now, but if I have a long car journey I take real fags.

My spending on cigarettes has more than halved a month since I started smoking roll ups four years ago.

Doesn't look attractive but what the fuck.
