I consider myself an active proponent of equality of opportunity and a stern critic of discrimination... and yet I find that I can't identify with many of the viewpoints I encounter on the MN feminism page (and often say so). AIBU?

I'd be behind that. Er, can we also march for bigger houses so that the new chaise longues would fit? That would be fab.

BBQFrenzy · 16/08/2011 22:52

Mine is available for rent at a reasonable price so long as you don't sue me for falling down the gap between the neck support and back support onto the deathpile of Lego below It has Designers' Guild haberdashery and an unfortunate stain I like to tell people is banana. Any takers?

ChickensHaveNoEyebrows · 16/08/2011 22:54

Hmm Banana you say? Interesting....

Did I say I want to drag someone into this thread?

Feminists are making statements about penetrative sex.

There is a decent size thread on the feminist section about just that.

This thread is loosely about feminism.

It's not a great leap of faith on your part to assume my questioning of the statement was valid is it?

Claw3 · 16/08/2011 22:56

Stewie, i did say i was losing the plot, thats my excuse anyhow!

Im quite looking forward to Cameron discussing orgasms, perhaps even orgasms on chaises longues Smile

ChickensHaveNoEyebrows · 16/08/2011 22:56

I mis-read that as 'vaginal sex past' as if SGM had included an inventory.

BelleDameSansMerci · 16/08/2011 23:00

Oh I have a lovely chaise in my bedroom... It's not for thinking about sex. Grin

Claw3 · 16/08/2011 23:01

Organic, some feminist may have a problem with penetrative sex and i can see where your assumption might have come from, but all the feminist on this thread have said they dont, so perhaps we could move on?

jennyvstheworld · 16/08/2011 23:02

I saw a great chaise longues once in a sale. Unfortunately it had the support bit on the left hand side rather than the right and hence wouldn't fit in the space I wanted it. Still pissed off about it actually Angry

Blow jobs. Safe sex and good fun

Was reading an STD website t'other day (don't ask) and it said you can pick up STDs from blow jobs.

Another one bites the dust.............

organicgardener · 16/08/2011 23:02

Perhaps stop mentioning it then?

BTW it wasn't an assumption.

ChickensHaveNoEyebrows · 16/08/2011 23:03

Blow jobs aren't that much fun unless you own the penis, really though. Or am I doing it wrong?

If I had a chaise longue it would exist solely as a repository for a selection of attractive throw cushions in delicate fabrics. It would not be for sitting on or shagging on. It would be for looking at. And admiring.

ChickensHaveNoEyebrows · 16/08/2011 23:05

I'd shag on it. Like an alpaca.

LOL :)

Claw3 · 16/08/2011 23:09

It wasnt an assumption? I thought you said that SGM disagreed with penetrative sex and SGM has stated thats not what she meant.

You know what, this is now getting to the she says, he says, she says stage, im off to have a bath! Smile

rockinhippy · 16/08/2011 23:09

YANBU I can't read the feminism board because most of it sends my blood pressure sky high - took the words out of my Mouth worraliberty Grin

YANBU :)

evenlessnarkypuffin · 16/08/2011 23:09

Weirder, you can transfer it genitals to mouth to genitals etc like a manky sex paper chain.

I think the pleasure in giving blow jobs is in the reaction of your partner. Giving can be a huge turn on. Having them tied up can help. And candle wax and ice cubes.

BBQFrenzy · 16/08/2011 23:10

OK OG let's break this down shall we?

  1. No one on this thread said they thought penetrative sex was a bad thing
  2. SGM pointed out that perhaps a wider definition of 'sex' which was less focused on penetration might benefit teenagers who are (a) desperate to not feel they are virgins; and (b) help lessen the spread of STIs and teen pregnancies

In the meantime you have tried to accuse various posters of saying women as a whole don't like penetrative sex (and if they have, "well the human race will argue with them"...bwah ha ha classique recomposes self), that "Getting an adult to explain how teenagers can "Please" each other is ridiculous and might I say domineering and intrusive" (oh well let's ban all sex ed apart from pure biology shall we) and generally ranted at something that WAS NEVER SAID ON THIS THREAD AND NOT ONE POSTER HAS SUPPORTED.

And yet, we must be thinking it, or be thinking of thinking about it because there was once a thread in the Feminist Section about penetrative sex where some posters may (have no idea but assuming you wouldn't be getting your pantaloons in such a twist otherwise - get a chaise longue and some Chablis - seriously, it helps) have said women didn't like penetrative sex. So obviously (careful, non sequitur imminent) that thread means this thread must be exactly the same.

Oh dear OG - here, look, it's late, we're all tired, allow me to give you the righteous vitriol your fevered imagination so craves: All women hate penetrative sex apart from when it's DP and he leaps on me on the chaise longue

ChickensHaveNoEyebrows · 16/08/2011 23:10

Arf @ 'manky sex paper chain' Grin

evenlessnarkypuffin · 16/08/2011 23:10

How would an alpaca shag?

ChickensHaveNoEyebrows · 16/08/2011 23:11

Vigorously. While still looking cute and alluring.
