I'm English. Grandma (dads side) is Irish. Great grandparents (on mums dads side) are Irish and great great grandparents are Irish and Spanish (mums mums side). I've been told we have some
Jewish ancestry on my mums mums side but not sure whether that comes from the Irish or Spanish.

Other end of the scale: worked once in secondary school in Dorset. At the time when I was there, school had set of 21 1st cousins, children of 7 siblings all still living within 5 miles of birthplace. Every grandparent of all 21 kids was from the same time. Strange thing was that all 21 were lovely!
