Spuddybean · 14/08/2011 01:08

english both sides all the way back to pre william the conquerer. i'm the only one of all friends with nothing but 1000 years of english in me.

i have had racists tell me i should have as many kids as possible to fight against mongrels. i have also had people pity me for having such a boring heritage.

tbh i don't understand patriotism - surely it's just luck where you are born.

maighdlin · 14/08/2011 01:10

boring 100% irish (you can tell by our skin its see through in the right light)

DH irish scottish and black on dads side irish and canadian on mums side. DH told me that his great great great grandfather or whatever moved from scotland to america and fell in love with a black slave then brought her back to scotland. i thought it was frankly bollocks but his granny actually had proof!

DH's wee brother is a good one though. he is irish canadian on mums side and maltese on dads. he can have a british passport, an irish passport, a canadian passport and a maltese passport!

Goodynuff · 14/08/2011 01:11

missmiss · 14/08/2011 01:23

1/8 Norwegian, 3/8 Scottish, 1/2 English. There's some probable French and Irish ancestry if you go back far enough on the English side, and the Norwegians were probably Russian at

missmiss · 14/08/2011 01:24
