to ask how many pairs of knickers you go through in a day?

DP has just text me saying he is putting the washing away and most of it is my knickers.

I wear 2-3 pairs per day and I don't think this is unusual or excessive...

I always wear knickers to bed, it's unhygienic not too, surely?

Usually 2 I guess - but haven't ever really thought about it.

Shower & clean pair in the morning
If I go to the gym a shower and another clean pair
Shower before bed - sometimes where knickers, sometimes not... depends.

... and another pair if I'm going out in the evening and have a shower before I go out...

I rather suspect I'd get texts from your husband too...

If I wear PJ's I'd do it without knickers, but they go in the wash in the morning.

The thing I find most difficult to understand is that anyone would have a shower and put on pants you have worn before you had a shower (ie pre gym clothes) - why? Why not put on a nice clean pair?

Sheets - well, that's a whole thread of it's own, usually done every 3 months (so probably due again).

At the very minimum once a week, usually twice and if much fun is being had then more often!

This knickerless goon changes the sheets once a week (sometimes twice). I don't tend to secrete on the sheets. Perhaps some of you need a trip to the GP if your nether regions ooze that much?

If we've safely established this is a sensible exchange of views and not pervy, then I'll say one a day unless exercising/going out, then more would be worn.
No sleeping in knickers as a general rule, pj's changed every couple of days too and sheets once a week.
Laundry sorted into dark and lights (mixing coloured and whites if I'm sure they won't run). Everything bunged in together - it all comes out clean enough.

Because it's just another thing to put in the running kit bag, that's why. I run during my lunch break at work unless I am on MN and eating a Bounty Bar so it's a rush in the morning. From getting dressed to run time isn't a long time, no clean undies needed.

Knickerless goon here too and I change my sheets when I think they need it which is quite rarely cos DP and I are obviously skanks. I'm getting serious deja vu now. The last thread about bedsheets yielded a post involving the words 'revelling' and 'bum crumbs'. Grin

And incidentally, no, I don't think either of us secrete THAT much in the sheets. And even if we did I'd still rather not wear knickers in bed or bother my arse to change the sheets more

Really? 3 pairs a day? No. 1 pair a day unless leakage has occurred, in which case of course they get changed.

errrm one pair, unless i get hot and sweaty or get changed to go out or entertain dp...

and i sleep naked in bed, my boys wear pj's but dont wear pants under them, i have never worn pants to bed, except post childbirth and if my period is too heavy for tampons alone!

i change my sheets once a week, sometimes more often. and i wash towels and bedsheets on their own on a hot cycle and anything else goes in on a 30-40 degree wash and i mix colours and whites if i know they wont run.

have i covered everything?!

I have only ever worn knickers in bed after giving birth. My girls think it's illegal. Sheets changed at least once a week as worst case scenario
