to ask how many pairs of knickers you go through in a day?

DP has just text me saying he is putting the washing away and most of it is my knickers.

I wear 2-3 pairs per day and I don't think this is unusual or excessive...

i don't understand people who can't wear their pre-gym pants again after the gym?

if i go to the gym at lunchtime then my pre-gym pants have only been worn for about four hours at most...

and rofl to the poster who things a thong is going to absorb all your 'minge' sweat...

Do you change into gym pants and then back into morning pants? Or do you mean you keep on the same pair for morning + gym and then afterwards?

2 pairs because I put a clean pair on in the morning, then have a bath later and put another clean pair on......

fluffles, I always have a shower after the gym and share the opinion of those on this thread who don't like showering and then putting 'old' knickers back on, even if they haven't been worn for very long. It's just weird psychological for me.

Me too LadyClarice I don't think it's unhygienic, it just feels a bit wrong, I think.

I wear two pairs if I'm going to the gym or it it's been a hot day and I've been all hot and bothered on the tube home.

no, i'm usually a no pants at the gym person, but then i generally just go to the gym ot use the treadmill, i wear running tights with a gusset in them aleady, or sometimes i wear padded shorts for spin class. If i go to do abs stuff or weights (not very often) i'll wear different gym pants.

but if i wear a pair of pants from 7/8am to midday then take them off for the gym, i do put them back on after my shower.

How on earth can you find knickers uncomfortable? You must have an awful lot of washing to do. I can make a pair of jeans last at least a week.

The last time it was that hot around here was 5 years ago. I work in an office with arctic air con, my car has air con and I live on the edge of the Pennines. I only have to deal with those kind of temperatures on holiday, when I am usually in a bikini or swimsuit.

As for talc in knickers - yuck and so very unhealthy.

To be honest once you get gone and have a shower if you have home cloths on why put on any knickers

I were one pair unless on period and my need to change

1-2 pairs. Usually one. Will change them if it's a particularly hot day! Or if I am going out in the evening. Only wear knickers in bed if have period.

Normally one pair unless going to the gym or out in the evening or its really hot. But I do have favourite knickers and feel that the day goes better if I've got them on.

Another one flummoxed by the number of people who wear knickers in bed. I can't wear anything under the sheets - I get too hot!

Leaves me at a (reasonable, I think!) One pair a day. If for some reason I have a mid-afternoon shower or bath, then yes, I might change, no sense putting old ones on clean skin! Usually though, i either shower first or last thing, which means I had none to worry about, or put none back on.

Mind you, I don't go to the gym. Possibly that would change things.

Like pretty much everyone else on this thread, one pair (unless I'm showering and changing to go out in the evening), none at night (unless I have my period).

2-3 a day is not what most people do; sorry.

2-3 here too! I don't think it's abnormal, I love the feeling of fresh cool pants. I won't be made to feel wrong for doing so, just as someone who doesn't change their pants all day isn't 'wrong' for doing so.

I put on:1 pair in the morning, 1 pair when home from daily grind (when getting changed into slacks) and 1 pair to sleep in. I wear the normal knicker-type pants and feel sort of safe sleeping in them, feel too exposed if I don't!

I don't have a hugely leaky or trapped vagina, it's just what works for me. I also hate pantyliners or any types of pad.

I don't think you can say whether something like this is "normal" because everyone's lifestyles are different and everyone's amount of sweat/discharge is different.
