to ask how many pairs of knickers you go through in a day?

DP has just text me saying he is putting the washing away and most of it is my knickers.

I wear 2-3 pairs per day and I don't think this is unusual or excessive...

1 pair a day unless the weather is stupidly hot and then i may change them at some point.

No knickers at night here either, although I cannot get that through to dd1 who does wear them.

My momwears knickers at night so that she doesn't have to wear clean pj's every night. I like having a clean pair of pj's each night though.

Op is wierd. And the fact that she doesn't even realise she is obsessive, makes her even wierder.
I wear 1 pair. 2 if I'm going out.
I wake up, shower and put on pants. I take them off and go to bed, naked. I would only put on a second pair if going out and thus having a shower in the evening, dress, make up.

Someone I used to know admitting febrezing her pants so she could get an extra day's wear out of them.

why would you change your bed sheets just because you don't wear knickers? Am I unusual in that I don't have lots of discharge, and I poo and wee on the loo, wipe well and shower regularly. When I take my knickers off they don't look dirty but they've been against my bits so I do wash them (obviously). I'm baffled.

Also, mums are encouraged to give babies nappy free time - it's also important for adults to let the air get in to avoid infections.

Also, as well as sleeping naked/with no knickers, sometimes I don't wear any during the day either :o (and yes, including to work)

Another 1 pair a day person unless have been exercising or if going out and requiring non-VPL knickers.

I also sleep naked, unless I have guests, or am a guest. However, on PJ days, I wear knickers under my PJs. Otherwise I would have to wash my PJs daily. This seems very normal to me...although when I was little I didn't. I think the pants-wearing developed at the same time as puberty hit.

3 pairs as well! One pair to the gym, then another pair during the day, then another pair for sleeping.

Oblomov - do you wear 2 pairs of knicks when going out as some sort of safety policy in the case of being runover or do you just live somewhere cold?

chaos they lied, they must have lied. No one would put that sort of chemical on their pants surely? (totally aside from the fact that its disgusting)

just one I dont wear knickers to bed. Knickers dont look dirty or smelly when i take them off at the end of the day i would worry if they did i would be even more concerned if sleeping knickerless made my BED dirty!. Only time i might change them is if i was going out for the evening - no idea why but i tend to put a whole new outfit on in those circumstances.

I absolutely hate pjs, find them so constricting and make me feel stuffy and trapped in bed.

I was forced to wear them as a child but rebelled at about 14 so now wear nothing in bed and 1 - 2 pairs of knicks dduring the day, depending.

And can't stand thongs either!

Don't wear pyjamas.

octopusinabox i either dotn wear anythign at all in bed or i wear a nighty. I do change that everyday i cant stand wearing clothes more than once.

Wasn't going to post in this but have to after reading up to p4 - if you're bothered about hygiene then;

Don't use panty liners
Let the air get to your flower
and don't use tons of softener!

I wear one pair a day, none at bedtime.

One pair a day unless I shower/change before an evening out; I often go commando but never under trousers/jeans.

Whatever undies I've worn that day/night always go in the laundry hamper before bedtime - but may be hunted down anytime if I'm not undressing myself.

PJs and soft cosy nighties are for lounging around in winter; I don't wear them in bed.

My bed gets changed at least once a week - slipping naked into freshly laundered pure cotton bed linen is something I always relish.

one to three pairs a day depending on if I'm going to the gym and / or out in evening. If only wearing one outfit all day, then only one pair.

And only at night if period is heavy - so once a month.

Mens boxers in bed in summer / pjs in winter - clean pair every night in both cases. But both are worn loose!

I'm another who doesn't understand the argument that one needs to air one's genitals/bottom by not wearing pants or PJ bottoms. Just how much of an airing is anything getting underneath a duvet? (Even if it is the finest quality Hungarian goose down the White Company has to offer?) And seriously, if an airing is required to prevent infections why aren't we all hanging our undercarriages out of the window/running round the garden nalked- that would provide a much more efficient airing.

Yes, I do wear knickers in bed. Never caused me a problem. I find it more comfy and hygienic. I accept other people do differently. Horses for courses.

1 pair a day. Unless I'm lucky enough to have a gym session in the middle of the day then I'd change them.

Pregnant and keep piddling self so Ive given up unless in public. The neighbours love me :D
