Most on here have lost their marbles

Let me be the one to help you find them because you have all clearly lost them. As I always say there are no stupid comments just stupid people. Whenever I read the post I cant help but be reminded of the poster. Just last week I heard one of these posts. And who makes them when? I know those questions aren?t often spelled out here but they ought to be. And you all must take responsibility for understanding when.

Back to the salient point. Talking sense and being cogent and not asking when but where. Enough idiocy. Manner up and then maybe find the marble because at this rate when will be asked more often than why.

A most sucessful career in politics awaits you.

I have long suspected that Gabby / this Chatbot is someone I having been occasionally speaking to on another forum for years. Compare this message I received a few days ago with the OP:

Ive sorted my options and I'm content learning about the Wans and Lans and the colerful wires. It's the future and there's money in it and it's where people from our abode reside. I was on a diet equivelent to that of paleolithic man but have went off it recently. Why? Because believe me, I'm not paleolithic. Currently I'm not having coffee in the AM as I believe it's important to begin each day focused on the real world without any stimulants. The way we begin each day affects the later hours so coffee after 5! These days I want to be as lucid as possible.Just picked myself up a new suit and I look flawless. With the changes in my life coming about it does something for me. Lately the color red is attractive to me, dark anthems with a jazzy feel, TV shows, candy even though I don't have it, technology, and geni's or at least the thought of them being real.

Shock

The on-line chemistry would be amazing!

Salmotrutta · 12/08/2011 21:55

I really needed to know what a paleolithic diet was............

So I googled.............

paleolithic diet

garlicbutter · 12/08/2011 22:33

It's basically the Atkins diet in stage 2 (meat, fats & salad). It's supposed to be good for CFS/ME and, in the rare phases when I stick to it, I think it does help - probably because it's extremely protein-heavy and contains almost no simple sugars: fruit is supposed to be an occasional treat. Unfortunately, I'm way too fond of chocolate, alcohol and bacon sarnies to keep at it. Plus, it's expensive.

I'm thinking of trying the Goblin Diet ... if anybody knows what it might be?

Salmotrutta · 12/08/2011 23:24

Shock - Goblins eat Hobbits! I can't bear to think of them eating those Merry Little Folk.
........... follow the Elf diet - it's all mushrooms and waybread. You will become beautiful and terrible and fell .
And all will fear you and be dumbstruck by your cold beauty..
Plus the added bonus is immortality and packing a mean line in ancient wisdom.

Salmotrutta · 12/08/2011 23:25

......... Blush

I do believe I betrayed a liking for a literary genre.......... Blush

garlicbutter · 12/08/2011 23:45

Cold beauty, ancient wisdom and immortality ... so a diet of mushrooms on waybread will turn me into marble? Grin

Sounds almost as bad as the molasses diet. But at least we're back on topic! Nice work!!

... Er ... What was the topic ... ?

InfestationofLannisters · 12/08/2011 23:46

Grin at needing to know what that diet is. That's dedication

Poster X is certainly not palaeolithic man. He isn't even able to aspire to be the missing link!

Salmotrutta · 13/08/2011 00:23

Shock......... the missing link has been solved by Ms Auel!!

Her poorly written work has informed hundreds many millions of people about the imaginary evolution of man.

Tsk - I'm amazed at your flippancy

InfestationofLannisters · 13/08/2011 00:44

Clan of the Cave Bear?

Well I never. I remember reading that surreptitiously as a young teen.

In terms of quality, magnificent is not the word!

Tortington · 13/08/2011 00:47

i can heartily recommend THE TROLLS GUIDE TO EATING. FROM TROLL TO DOLL T2D

shelfy74 · 13/08/2011 00:58

Leave the bastard!

Salmotrutta · 13/08/2011 01:02

Yeah, 'cos a Troll is like, totally like, going to turn into a doll, right, yeah?

Trolls are big stony bastards.
You need a golem to sort those out......... oh yes.
Golems are the new cookery/gardening/DIY......... I have a Golem

Tortington · 13/08/2011 01:04

well thanks for pointing that out.

nowt like decorum is there#

if you don't want big stoney trolls here - just say so - no need to be rude and passive agressive about it

InfestationofLannisters · 13/08/2011 01:07

Oh I've had a Golem for aaaaages but it eats all the cupcakes and doesn't iron the bunting properly. They are very over-rated.

Salmotrutta · 13/08/2011 01:07

Infestation - there are several books in the Clan of the Cave Bear series............. and many teenagers learned the Facts Of Life from them Grin

.......... cough.... not that I read any you understand........

DioneTheDiabolist · 13/08/2011 01:09

You know OP, I have been telling my son about this. "Keep your marbles in the marble jar" I say (not really a marble jar, it's an empty vitamin jar).
But does he? Does he?

Does he fuck?

And so when I find them I just chuck them into the toy box/lego box/whatever box is handy. If he doesn't like it, he should damn well put them away properly. And if he did maybe then he would manage to get up enough marbles to warrant an actual marble jar and not have to make do.

Salmotrutta · 13/08/2011 01:14

Oh well, trolls are .... ahem....welcome. Of course.... but Golem/Troll relations are .... ahem .... tricky.

InfestationofLannisters · 13/08/2011 01:15

No no, of course you didn't. I didn't learn anything at all from Jackie Collins novels.
