Most on here have lost their marbles

Let me be the one to help you find them because you have all clearly lost them. As I always say there are no stupid comments just stupid people. Whenever I read the post I cant help but be reminded of the poster. Just last week I heard one of these posts. And who makes them when? I know those questions aren?t often spelled out here but they ought to be. And you all must take responsibility for understanding when.

Back to the salient point. Talking sense and being cogent and not asking when but where. Enough idiocy. Manner up and then maybe find the marble because at this rate when will be asked more often than why.

OP posts:

'marbles' is a complete sentence.

And why do I do an accidental post midway through a word EVERY BLOODY TIME on this bastarding phone Angry

Blatherskite · 12/08/2011 08:33

Sorry. It was me. The DC's and I were playing Marble Run yesterday and we needed 'em see?

Finallyspring · 12/08/2011 08:56

At first I thought this was Gabby/Scousy/Robingood but he wouldn't have been able to resist saying something about Cameroony eventually. So, who is it ? And why ?

Whatmeworry · 12/08/2011 09:09

Ah, the gently wafting smell of roast meerkat as we brought in the marble harvest. Those were the days....

InfestationofLannisters · 12/08/2011 09:10

Leprechauns have such a sense of entitlement don't they? They're as bad as the <a class="break-all" href="http://www.google.com/imgres?q=Gringotts+Goblins&hl=en&safe=off&client=firefox-a&hs=J6S&sa=X&rls=org.mozilla:en-GB:official&biw=1920&bih=921&tbm=isch&prmd=ivns&tbnid=MSPi5P31eCRXFM:&imgrefurl=www.hp-lexicon.org/wizworld/places/gringotts.html&docid=hvbMsyuVGCR49M&w=350&h=179&ei=rN9ETsW0Jc6q8QOG3JGYBg&zoom=1&iact=hc&vpx=425&vpy=250&dur=2598&hovh=143&hovw=280&tx=133&ty=84&page=1&tbnh=91&tbnw=177&start=0&ndsp=65&ved=1t:429,r:13,s:0" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">greedy goblins Angry

AuntieMonica · 12/08/2011 09:19

i know where there's a spare marble!

it's embedded in the mortar in the wall at our bus stop, i tell DD it's there if i ever lose mine. i think it might take a while to dig it out though...

Anniegetyourgun · 12/08/2011 09:26

There are no crazy comments, just crazy people.

All this bad press about leprechauns gives me the gyp. Don't you realise that they perform a valuable social function? That gold was just going to waste you know, lying around in little heaps out of sight. They've put it to use, they've given the ordinary working person something to aspire to.

LyingWitchInTheWardrobe2726 · 12/08/2011 09:35

Gawd... How I hate wasting 'clicks' to open a thread. What an attention-seeker you are, OP, so pointless. Won't be back.

duckdodgers · 12/08/2011 09:39

"Back to the salient point. Talking sense and being cogent and not asking when but where. Enough idiocy. Manner up and then maybe find the marble because at this rate when will be asked more often than why."

Hahahahahaha - oh the irony!

picnicbasketcase · 12/08/2011 09:39

Remarkably good spelling used in the OP considering how pished he/she must have been.

LadyBeagleEyes · 12/08/2011 09:47

I used to truly believe the Elgin Marbles were actually marbles, and it wasn't until I actually saw a picture of them that I realised why the Greeks were making such a fuss about getting them back.

picnicbasketcase · 12/08/2011 09:49

I thought the same LBE, I had this image in my head of a series of giant coloured marbles arranged in a pyramid formation like Ferrero Rocher.

DuelingFanjo · 12/08/2011 09:50

eh?

Georgimama · 12/08/2011 09:52

We weren't allowed marbles as children, and considering what DB2 did with the brown wax crayon when he was 4, it was just as well.

BrainSurgeon · 12/08/2011 10:06

I love this thread

TheMagnificentBathykolpian · 12/08/2011 10:12

Oh this has got to be Gabby's work!

I do love Gabby.

I wonder what he'd be like if he was ever sober.

Salmotrutta · 12/08/2011 10:30

I honestly don't think its Gabby.
But it kept me vastly entertained last night!! Grin

cheekeymonkey · 12/08/2011 10:38

I made a lovely marbled chocolate cake, anyone want a slice?

michelleseashell · 12/08/2011 10:42

Ha ha ha love it! Love the poster typing away at her computer thinking smugly 'I am the voice of reason'

Salmotrutta · 12/08/2011 10:47

TBH michelle, I'm sure the "voice of reason" must have been ever so slightly slurred Wink Grin

cheesesarnie · 12/08/2011 10:52

i used to keep my marbles in a sock which was knotted at the top.it stopped my pesky little sisters pinching them.i never actually played marbles, just admired the pretty ones.

cheekeymonkey · 12/08/2011 11:02

If you get a bottle of wine and drink it really fast you can understand it! Its like one of those magic eye posters that you have to go cross-eyed to see.Grin

michelleseashell · 12/08/2011 11:05

'I'M THE VIOSH OF REASHON!!!!'

You're the voice try and understand it! Make a sound and make it clear! Woooooooahhhh wo-ooooooahhh oooahh! woooooooahhhh wo-ooooooahhh oooahh oooahhh!

CaptainNancy · 12/08/2011 11:06

Why is a mouse when it spins?

Because the higher it gets, the fewer.

cheekeymonkey · 12/08/2011 11:08

That made me snort tea out of my nose Nancy
