I went into toysrus yesterday and purchased an elonex etouch tablet pc. for DS1 and DS2 to use.

I set it up when I got home and found it to have a history which contained porn sites - therefore it was preowned.

I returned to the store and got a replacement.

I set it up and again have found not only a web page history of porn sites but downloads a well.

They are telling me they didn't know these had been returned as there is no record of them being which leads me to the conclusion that a staff member is using them.

So please if you buy this item please do check the history first!!!

I am doing an interview tomorrow with a local paper.

I don't think it is funny personally but then thats just me.

my mum has one of these purchased at xmas and its already broken! something technological inside that toysrus are well aware of as even without a receipt the Readign store didnt make a fuss over refunding her, they said they weren't surprised and had had lots returned.
Shes now got an ipad.

some of us dont have finaces which stretch that far.......certainly not for something as expensive as an ipad....for children?

maybe LES wants to spread the message.....check all internet based toys/devices etc BEFORE handing them straight over to dc?

What worries me if it was ToysRus staff they are in daily contact with children, are the staff vetted!
