Naggy and bossy at the same time. And so tribal.

I think that's cheating Wink.

would maurice or filthyfunkproject mind posting about how feminists don't shave? I think that should cover it......

filthyfunkproject · 22/07/2011 15:08

Some feminists are hairy with no sense of humour - I've met a few .

DontCallMePeanut · 22/07/2011 15:08

You can't call house if you're the caller, ELNP... Grin

No. Us SFC do NOT want to see innocent men jailed. No one has said that.

But people forget the majority of women do NOT lie about rape. The majority of victims, the VAST majority of victims, are telling the truth, yet see their attacker walk free. Please tell me now that we have justice. Because I don't see it.

that's the problem with bringing up stories of victims who lie about rape. It blows the stats out of proportion. It puts more doubt on the victims. It villifies us. That's why we push for more people to believe the victims. Not to see more innocent men sent down. But for more GUILTY men to get sent down. Big difference.

TandB · 22/07/2011 15:08

[looks guiltily at stubbly legs]

But in my case it isn't a feminist issue - I just can't be arsed and it's cold and my legs are covered.

Treats · 22/07/2011 15:09

Thanks maurice!

DontCallMePeanut · 22/07/2011 15:10

I had an allergic reaction to my shaving cream. Only reason I haven't shaved. :(

Treats · 22/07/2011 15:12

Sorry - filthyfunkproject - I meant you!

sakura · 22/07/2011 15:12

I remember when the appalling Condems were first elected, and one of the first things they tried to do was pass a law to allow anonymity for rapists.
Hariet Harman didn't miss a beat. She told them outright that a law like that implied that women lied about rape, and thankfully they shelved that silliness.

Honestly, Harman is one of the only women who is not simply a token women kow-towing to the men in power.

That's why she gets such a bad rap, of course.

DontCallMePeanut · 22/07/2011 15:22

I think this backs up what Sakura said

Now if you wouldn't mind apologising for being so rude to Sakura, TD? I'm appalled...

TartyDoris · 22/07/2011 15:25

I would like Sakura to provide evidence of when the Coalition tried to pass a law to allow anonyity to rapists.

Seriously I am sick and tired of the utter bullshit spouted by extreme feminist. They really do live in a world of their own. It actually sickens me to think that I am of the same gender as these people.

sakura · 22/07/2011 15:26

LMAO that someone started this thread.

So predictable

Can't you woman-hating comedians get some new material?

DontCallMePeanut · 22/07/2011 15:27

The article is from June, 2010, btw. Less than a month after the Condems came into power. So yes. It is one of the first things they tried to do.

sakura · 22/07/2011 15:27

Tarty, I don't give a fig which gender you are.

Are you of the female sex ?
