Personally I think it was wrong to deal with the phone-hacking issue by axeing the NOTW. All this has achieved is to give the impression that the matter has been dealt with when in reality those responsible have got away scot-free.

The NOTW will simply turn into the Sunday Sun, no one will be held accountable, nothing will change and Murdoch can go around telling everyone about his impeccable morals while achieving his long-term goal of media domination unhindered.
