I've had the day off today. Dropped Ds off at school, taken dog for a walk, emptied and re-loaded dishwasher, done two loads of washing (only one is hanging on the line so far), hoovered and mopped floors and nipped to the shops.

Yes Pag, that's what I think!

But a cleaner would make life perfect Smile

I have just sold my business (which I did from home) as moving back to London from Spain in three months time. Have 3 teenage DC and a 2.4yr old DD. I intend to do absolutely fuck all over the summer apart from lie by the pool, swim in the pool and then lie by the pool once again. All day. Every day. All our stuff is in boxes ready to leave so we will behave as if we're on holiday Grin.

Once we return, DD3 will be starting at nursery school, 5 mornings, 9-12, term time and I have yet to decide between the milkman, window cleaner or postman Wink.

Will probably return to my career of yesteryear involving cooking for bored rich housewives and letting them pass off my food as their own at their dinner parties. Or not.

janey and fabby seem a bit testy, they must be working too hard. They should pack it in and join us on the sofa - might get rid of the chips on their shoulders Smile

I don't work, both my dd's are at school, i would love a job but because both the girs have sn's i would be constantly asking for days off for appointments (dd2 has therapy once a week, dd1 has physio and doctors appointments) and meetings with the school (to go through paper work), if i could find a job to fit in around them (maybe from home) then i would happily work.

I spend most of the day making phone calls, running the dd's to different appointments, filling in forms and doing the house work ,oh and a little bit of time for MN Grin.

Cleaning and putting laundry away, luxury?? Sounds dull to 'me!

NO doh.
reading during the day is a luxury- or would be for me.

drivemecrazy63 · 03/07/2011 18:05

me too marne ds is ASD so have two diff schools to collect and drop off from the paperwork and appointments for that alone are unbelievable arnt they

Riveninside · 03/07/2011 18:06

Same as marne but sometimes i take the phone off the hook and pretend im a normal person. Id love to work personally and have tried but with my own disability and dds endless appointments, hospital stays etc, i am not a good catch!

fairydoll · 03/07/2011 18:07

hmc · 03/07/2011 18:11

I do an awful lot of pleasing myself. I'm quite the hedonist really!

hmc · 03/07/2011 18:12

Not to be confused with pleasuring myself! Blush...although maybe I could fit that in (ponders.....)
