It's so obviously ghostwritten it's laughable. They really could have made more of an effort to make it sound like it genuinely came from her.

mauricetinkler · 30/06/2011 14:06

AmberLeaf - the whole skit was aimed at Jordan and the child was incidental in the whole thing. He knew full well the complete bullshit and hypocrisy he would get in terms of her reaction - and she certainly didn't disappoint.

MooMooFarm · 30/06/2011 14:06

YABU. If she really wanted what was best for her children she would stop pimping them out to the media and give them a bit of normality.

AmberLeaf · 30/06/2011 14:08

I also think that if it was anyone in the public eye that FB had made those offensive comments about he would've been much more vilified than he was.

Meant to say anyone else in the public eye.

TurkeyBurgerThing · 30/06/2011 14:09

There's no way she wrote it! It's probably written by the same people who did her books.....

AmberLeaf · 30/06/2011 14:09

maurice so do you think FBs comments about Harvey are acceptable?

ashamedandconfused · 30/06/2011 14:11

QOT - is that right? I did not know that!

Glitterknickaz · 30/06/2011 14:12

Alleging that a child with complex needs is potentially a rapist is incidental then is it?

Glitterknickaz · 30/06/2011 14:13

Ohhh shit, are you telling me that the Charlie I snorted in my pregnancies made my kids autistic? Hmm

Odd really considering they've not really discovered the full causes of that particular one. Prader Willi and Septo Optic Dysplasia I have no idea whether illegal substances cause those.

AvonCallingBarksdale · 30/06/2011 14:13

QOT - I don't think we know that, do we?!

MooMooFarm · 30/06/2011 14:16

BTW - I think the comments made by FB are disgusting and if I were a TV exec I wouldn't now touch him with a barge pole.

I also don't think it's fair to assume that KP caused her sons disabilities herself in any way.

But I think it's a shame (and quite telling ) that KP and Peter Andre seem hell-bent on keeping their children in the public eye.

There is no evidence to support QOTs claims that KP used cocaine during her pregnancy at all. There is also no evidence to suggest that cocaine use during pregnancy causes the baby to be autistic.

mauricetinkler · 30/06/2011 14:16

AmberLeaf - in the context in which they were made, yes. Would he have made them if the kid's mother wasn?t such a hypocritical, generally nasty piece of work? No. The whole thing was satire from start to finish - the original joke, the press's outrageous reaction, the crocodile tears from Jordan. I'm struggling to get why people cannot see that.

The jist with the sticker was that she wasn't bothered, just asked for a few plugs in the mag but once all the complaints had come in, she changed her mind.

Of course that might not be true, but she didn't sue Mark Frith over it......

tazmin · 30/06/2011 14:18

But I think it's a shame (and quite telling ) that KP and Peter Andre seem hell-bent on keeping their children in the public eye.

absolutely

they are both dreadful dreadful people - mind you perhaps they should have stayed together, at least then they wouldnt be ruining another couples lives. Poor poor kids, will grow up as awful as the parents.

AmberLeaf · 30/06/2011 14:19

Frankie Boyle has insulted made jokes at the expense of children with downs syndrome and autism.

If he had made jokes at the expense of Africans or Pakistanis no tv channel would touch him with a bargpole.........but disabled people are fair game?

AmberLeaf · 30/06/2011 14:21

QOT people were saying

Thats not evidence, thats gossip.

WineAndPizza · 30/06/2011 14:21

maurice in what way is it hypocritical for her to complain about this? If he had made a joke about her using her children for publicity then she would be hypocritical to complain. Being appalled about FB making a joke about her disabled child wanting to rape her is not hypocritical.

mauricetinkler · 30/06/2011 14:21

AmberLead - I personally think any group is fair game where satire and, indeed, humour generally is concerned.

childfreeatm · 30/06/2011 14:21

KP is awful, and an attention seeking tramp that shouldn't be dragging her children into the spotlight for her own benefit which she does all the time, and dragging them through random marriages and men all the time!

MrsTwinks · 30/06/2011 14:22

So the kid automatically becomes a subject of ridicule because his mum is a hypocritical nasty peice of work as you put it? bullshit. No one deserves simply because you dont like his/her parents because thats the one thing in life no one can ever say you chose.

Its sick, and tbh, IMO its a good thing hes not able to understand that some twat on TV told a joke about him having sex with his mum. I don't find incest funny do you? Most kids his age know a bit about birds and bees, could you imagine knowing someone thinks you do that with you mum?

So totallly ghost written thou, but seeing her around brighton with the kids you can't say shes doesnt love them to bits. Shes just not that eloquent.

mauricetinkler · 30/06/2011 14:26

Loves em to bits MrsTwinks? Funny kind of love...

MrsTwinks · 30/06/2011 14:27

no parent is perfect. Not saying her methods or the stuff she does in the media arent alittle fucked up. But you cant say she doesnt love her kids.
