The Non-Feminist Point of View

JamesHuff · 29/06/2011 15:00

I have noticed over the last while that the Feminist section has grown over the last bit.

This does not surprise me, but I feel compelled to ask why this site has begun to ascribe to a sociopolitical ideology when it was originally a resource for parents.

I think that as a result of this discrepancy, non-feminist points of view should have their own section as well. I hope people who disagree with inequalities feminism has created within our legislation will be compelled to express themselves more often.

I don't see it as unreasonable. Since there will be disagreements on various topics, I just figure a non-feminist based section would be in order. This way parents have a choice that reflects both sides of the coin.

What about a pro lady beard sub style and beauty section?

Hullygully · 01/07/2011 14:45

Where IS Holdall? He never answered my question. Perhaps his own bitterness ate him all up.

mauricetinkler · 01/07/2011 14:56

Holdall got banned by MN. Apparently, they were concerned he was ruffling too many feminist feathers.

Hullygully · 01/07/2011 14:57

Are you Holdall, Maurice?

Cos Pagz WANTS you, big time.

mauricetinkler · 01/07/2011 14:59

No I'm not HullyGully. And even I was I wouldn't be into Paggers. Too feisty

SybilBeddows · 01/07/2011 15:03

I love the 'apparently'

Pagwatch · 01/07/2011 15:06

Oh yes, it takes a certain kind of man.

Hullygully · 01/07/2011 15:09

You are you know. Holdall called her Paggers, too, and no one else does. I don't think you're very good at disguises, are you? Try a false nose.

Pagwatch · 01/07/2011 15:11

I was a touch disappointed that my poem which only had arse headed tit in it was deleted. Yet the much less fragrant poem about me was not.

But I am disappointed that they were such lightweights and reported. Arse headed tit is quite a lame basis for reporting I think

Pagwatch · 01/07/2011 15:12

I quite like pagers. Very Malory towers.

Perhaps Maurice is the madcap irene?

Hullygully · 01/07/2011 15:13

Could you see you and Mauriz Holdall long term Pagz, once the sex had calmed down?

Pagwatch · 01/07/2011 15:15

Why would the sex calm down?
Unless maybe there was cake.

Hullygully · 01/07/2011 15:20

You could do it IN the cake, you and Mauriz Holdall rolling about in jam and cream all warm and squishy. Ohh yesssssssssssssss.

Pagwatch · 01/07/2011 15:23

It's time for your lie down hully.

Hullygully · 01/07/2011 15:24

And pills.

Pore ol Mauriz Holdall has come over all queer and gorn orf.

Hullygully · 01/07/2011 15:25

Just a thought

AnyF · 01/07/2011 15:26

Unfortunately, I couldn't help myself; I googled it.

So that's supper fucked then........

I'm so sorry Blush it was me. I hope either you're on a diet and were happy to miss a meal or that you ate a bit later!! x

Tyr · 02/07/2011 18:13

CrapolaDeVille,

After a sleepless night, I did manage some toast for breakfast.

With low fat margarine.

Offred · 16/08/2012 17:30

Ha! I just found this thread, can't believe none of you pointed out that anti-feminists are also non-feminists but that non-feminists are not necessarily anti-feminism... Clearly the huffmeister means he is anti-feminism and wants an anti-feminist page which really is the whole reason why his post was total shit nevermind that it was a passively aggressively worded trolling attempt by a pro hate lobby.

But crikey, a funny thread indeed and victorious entirely because googling mumsnet brings up his blog's post on winding mumsnet up which brings up this thread which really didnt work out as well as he hoped!

Men lose care of their children? Erm no, courts don't remove children from the care of their mothers because their partners are men.

Feminism caused the banking crash? Ha ha ha!

What a total idiot, he is the kind that makes the "data" fit to viewpoint and not t'other way round so pointless engaging but hilairious pisstaking! I think humour is the perfect way to deal with this it says "your view is too insignificant to debate or be riled by"

Offred · 16/08/2012 18:32

Oh and also he is unreasonable because the worst misandry is being written on his blog and forums etal in addition to the misogyny.

Krumbum · 16/08/2012 18:42

Yeah mate a nice misogyny section just for you.
Feminism has done huge amounts of good for both women and men.
