Ok BIA- is it still ok to point out that:
a) the remark to Stroessner was highly inappropriate from a representative of a democratic country
b) the remark after the Dunblane disaster showed remarkable insensitivity towards the victims of the disaster
c) the slitty eye remark and the remark he made in Papua New Guinea were rude to his hosts- which is something his generation were generally brought up to be very careful about
d) the unemployment remark shows how little imagination and was again inappopriate for someone who is, somehow, supposed to represent the nation
If all these were so innocuous, how come the Queen doesn't do this sort of thing? Nor do the Royalties of most other European countries.
No chip here- just pointing out the obvious.
