... to think that because I can't see a new IPOAT thread I should start one myself?

Especially as I want to wish CheerfulYank a VERY HAPPY BIRTHDAY for today. Hope you are having a lovely day.

And here is the patron saint of IPOAT playing Happy Birthday To CY!

Someone called me a fast young gel!!!! >

Thought you might like this - just teasing of cousre!
Jins · 11/06/2011 20:25

I'm all about the kittens too

There's no room for joy on this thread passivelyaggressive -it's all about prayer and tatting.

Have you thought about tatting your ... um... shavings?

passivelyaggresive · 11/06/2011 20:28

i could make a silk scarf!

wanders off wondering about tatting and ipoats

Honeydragon · 11/06/2011 22:17
PenguinArmy · 11/06/2011 22:50

they are better tasting when fully grown

Jins · 11/06/2011 23:16

A three wheeled chariot? That sounds innovative.

Prawn leg bouillabaise for me but can I have mine with the prawn still attached?

I hope hully is feeling calmer. I shall pray for her as well as the kittens

fiderer · 12/06/2011 08:18

Ladies! I return, chastened and afraid. I was locked in the barn with the Right Rev, worried for my maidenly soul. Smoke filled the darkened gloom, I feared the barn was alight and fled. Wandered in confusion reading random pamphlets until I saw the hallowed Hall of IPOAT.
Tatting - I know little of. Would that have helped me in my week of enforced exile?

Jins · 12/06/2011 08:49

I was 'avin a faaag!

fiderer · 12/06/2011 11:39

Needs a tisane. Or posset.
Possibly both.

Riveninside · 12/06/2011 11:42

Roast kitten

Hullygully · 12/06/2011 12:20

Now look here.

Just how many of you are in that barn?

dear mr Rochester says the very rafters groan and complain, charred and blackened as they are and bring back such awful memories he is quite wretched.

Honeydragon · 12/06/2011 13:53

A few of us Mistress Hully but the rebuild is going well

minimammoth · 12/06/2011 13:59

It has taken me sometime to recover from the swoon, precipitated by the 'bear'. I will loosen my stays and steel myself for another look, for medicinal and character building purposes only of course. I will add your seminar suggestions to the curriculae Lady Umami. currently working on 'How to Sashay in a Crinoline'.
I suggest homeopathic prawn in preparation for your visit to the knife man Riv.

Hullygully · 12/06/2011 14:23

Must stay off other threads Must stay off other threads. Stay away from The Foamers..

minimammoth · 12/06/2011 14:36

. I think you are very brave venturing out of the safety of the Halls. 'tis a cruel world out there. I am much more of a coward and will remain in the tatting area with occasional sorties to the apothecary garden to gather the healing herbs.

fiderer · 12/06/2011 15:32

Mistress Hully - Foamers:
After a week without internet in the barn I was comforted by the IPOAT Halls and the thread that is the WestWing of a Hall Faraway. Everything else, scary for a maiden.

Mistress Mini - I offer my help with gathering healing herbs.

minimammoth · 12/06/2011 15:37

Your help is greatly appreciated Miss fiderer, we must observe the phases of the moon, and only gather on the prescibed days for if not the herbs may turn nasty.

minimammoth · 12/06/2011 15:38

prescribed that is. I must put a new quill in this pen.

fiderer · 12/06/2011 16:02

Nasty herbs may sour the potency of any healing.

Jins · 12/06/2011 16:17

I confess that I do not venture beyond the confines of IPOAT much nowadays.

CheerfulYank · 12/06/2011 16:35

I have ventured out and, on the whole, found madness and desolation. Tis best to stay here under the ministrations of Rev Wright.

Jins · 12/06/2011 21:08

We're going to need a bigger barn.

Honeydragon · 12/06/2011 21:19

ta daa!

Some nicely tatted antimacassars about and net curtains for modesty and it'll be grand.

PenguinArmy · 12/06/2011 21:40

missing a few vital ingredients here and there

Honeydragon · 12/06/2011 21:46

Ok, so basically your saying our brains barn is a little flaky and unstable?
