The disgusting little bartenders at his place of work thought it would be a good wheeze to trick him.....we think...he's now unsure what to do....I think he should inform his boss and have the dirty little crap heads sacked...or the police....there's no proof though....the glass has been done away with.

What can he do I am livid on his behalf and am very close to going in there and banging their heads together...he's upset about it but not keen on conforntation...he wonders abuout telling the boss...he has texted one of the bartenders and the lad denied it and asked if he was ok..my bro thinks there was piss in the drink because none of the other guys tried this supposed cocktail and because it was "salty" and yellowish....he drank some....and a they were earting some strong cheese he thought that this was affecting the taste...so he drank some more...and thought it was gross..

Later it came to him that there may have been urine in it...in fact he is convinced due to the reactions of the lads....also should he get tested for anything? can you catch things from this???

Isn't urine sterile?

Not that this makes any difference to the overall, this was a nasty thing to do. I don't think the police will be able to do anything. I would report to the boss(es) though.

Imnotaslimjim · 10/05/2011 10:15

Its a nasty thing to do, and could probably be classed as assault if they knowingly did it, but urine is actually safe to drink, even if they donor has anything to pass on

I would complain to his bosses though as that isn't on

disgustedperson · 10/05/2011 10:16

I thought it was assault too Imnotaslimjim thing is, what if he was wrong and it was just a gross cocktail? He reckons it was salty....but I;m sure I've had some cocktails ike that...

Is urine salty? Confused

Anyway, I'm sure if they were going to trick him into drinking piss, they'd have disguised it so it didn't look at all pissy ie not yellow. I'm sure it was just an unpleasant concoction. He should tell a manager though, if it upset him. I don't think it would be necessary to call the police.

scurryfunge · 10/05/2011 10:21

Administering poison or noxious thing with intent to injure, aggrieve or annoy is an old offence - depends whether urine is seen as a noxious thing.

I would certainly report it to his boss -nasty person.

disgustedperson · 10/05/2011 10:25

He's just texted them to say that if they did he will find out as the CCTV has audio...he thinks this will put the wind up them enough....he wants to forget about it,

OP posts:
TidyDancer · 10/05/2011 10:42

Are you implying there might've been something other than urine in there?

CarefulWithThatAxeEugene · 10/05/2011 11:00

It's nothing but conjecture though, surely?

disgustedperson · 10/05/2011 11:00

Omg I did not think of that TIdy....but he HAS seemed very "speedy"....

OP posts:
disgustedperson · 10/05/2011 11:01

He has been pacing up and down since he got home at 7.30...that's when he usually finishes work...

OP posts:
disgustedperson · 10/05/2011 11:02

Careful....it is nothing but conjecture...but he could have management take a look at the CCTV...the place is riddled with it and it's state of the art stuff...sensitive mic's and everything.

kreecherlivesupstairs · 10/05/2011 11:02

OP, how old is your brother? Unless he is either 12 or incapable in some way, yo may be better off leaving him to sort his own problem out.

disgustedperson · 10/05/2011 11:07

kreecher....don;t be rude...he's upset and unsure of what to do...I lso suspect he may have been spiked now. The sniggering of the bar tenders adds up to something...his mood and state of mind is not normal.

I'm under a name change here...and I have always liked you so I'm quite surpised at you being this rude tbh.

OP posts:
lionheart · 10/05/2011 11:09

kreecher, dp is just trying to be protective/supportive as any good sister would do.

CarefulWithThatAxeEugene · 10/05/2011 11:11

Has he done something to incur everyone's displeasure?

DooinMeCleanin · 10/05/2011 11:14

Speed doesn't taste at all salty. It has a very strong chemical taste and smell, it's quite disgusting, which is why people tend to 'wrap' it in fag papers. If it's speed he will have 'cotton mouth' feel like his jaw is tight, be grating his teeth and will be touching his face a lot and talking quickly.

tallulahxhunny · 10/05/2011 11:14

hes probably pacing the floor cos hes angry, not because he was spiked!! what age is he?

TandB · 10/05/2011 11:14

No point calling the police - they won't do anything on the basis of such vague suspicions and it will just add to his annoyance.

And no, it wouldn't be an assault. Not sure if it would be any sort of offence to be honest.

kreecherlivesupstairs · 10/05/2011 11:15

I am not being rude, I was merely asking a reasonable question.

disgustedperson · 10/05/2011 11:15

NO Careful....he's the most innocuous guy ever....easy going, good looking and good humour...he has plenty of mates etc....he's not been at this place that long and all I can think is they may be a bit "jealous" of him...I know I am his sis but he is very blessed in the looks department..he's not wimpy or a typical victim though....there's no reason he can think of...he says they were maybe just being idiots because they were bored....

OP posts:
disgustedperson · 10/05/2011 11:16

kreecher it was not reasonable it was obviously sarcastic "Unless your brother is 12 or incapable" is not reasonable...obviously I would have said if he were a minor or had SN.

OP posts:
TheReturnoftheSmartArse · 10/05/2011 11:18

Is there some way he can be tested for speed? [naive emoticon].

I don't think Kreecher was being rude, OP, but I do appreciate that a lot is lost in translation on a forum and you are undoubtedly feeling a little sensitive.

disgustedperson · 10/05/2011 11:19

He's 21....he is in bed now...he can't sleep and is very grindy of tooth...he's up and down to the loo aswell.

OP posts:
scurryfunge · 10/05/2011 11:20

kungfupannda.....I agree -I wasn't sure whether urine could be a noxious thing (and whether that offence still exists!).

DooinMeCleanin · 10/05/2011 11:20

Yes speed will show up in a drug test either via blood or urine for quite a while after it has been consumed. But you can smell and taste speed in a drink. It's vile stuff and very 'chemically'
