To tell my brother to call the police about this? Nasty trick..

The disgusting little bartenders at his place of work thought it would be a good wheeze to trick him.....we think...he's now unsure what to do....I think he should inform his boss and have the dirty little crap heads sacked...or the police....there's no proof though....the glass has been done away with.

What can he do I am livid on his behalf and am very close to going in there and banging their heads together...he's upset about it but not keen on conforntation...he wonders abuout telling the boss...he has texted one of the bartenders and the lad denied it and asked if he was ok..my bro thinks there was piss in the drink because none of the other guys tried this supposed cocktail and because it was "salty" and yellowish....he drank some....and a they were earting some strong cheese he thought that this was affecting the taste...so he drank some more...and thought it was gross..

Later it came to him that there may have been urine in it...in fact he is convinced due to the reactions of the lads....also should he get tested for anything? can you catch things from this???

If you are ever under suspision that someone has tampered with your drink , i.e put drugs in it go straight to a&e and ask to be tested . Even date rape drugs can be found if looked for quickly enough.

OP I would be exactly the same as you if I was worried my younger sister had had her drink spiked, and I have friends who would be the same about their brothers, so I don't see what the issue with that is.

Regarding drugs, I think you'd know pretty definitely if the drink had been spiked so I would go with your instincts on that one i.e. whether to advise him to pursue blood tests, drugs can be detected in the bloodstream for some time after the effects have worn off I believe, not sure how long though.

I think the big point being missed here is that it is all conjecture and guesswork - the brother doesn't know what he drank, just that he drank a cocktail fo some sort and didn't like it. If this was a thread about a drink definitely being spiked there would get a very different response from a lot of people.

So how do you expect people to give you meaningful advice then? Your thread is all about suspected urine in a drink, which, believe me, would have nothing like the effect of a drug. I was very ill indeed. It reminded me of the time I was hospitalised with pneumonia, it was that bad.

I do think most people would laugh off urine in a drink, or have a go at the workmates, but not take it any further. Its unpleasant, but pretty harmless. Unless it was associated with something like forcing him to drink it or was an ongoing thing.

A comment from tidydancer suddenly has op suspecting speed and god knows what else. Big jump there op you need to be sure what you're accusing people of.

Now the glass has been cleaned and it's probably out of his system there won't be much proof which is a shame.

When i was 15 i worked on a camp site with ten 19-25yr olds. They used to wank in my cup of tea frequently. No it wasnt nice, but is it really a huge deal?

What exactly do you think will harm him in drinking someones piss?

The idea that he may have been spiked is just you trying to make it more serious than it was.

That's the thing jimmy it's not nice but he will come to no harm at all. All this talk of drugs has been added on during the thread and was not what the op originally posted.
That is pretty bad fleur but I have known that happen.

I don't think the police will be interested to be honest. When my dh got spiked he ended up needing an ambulance as it caused him to stop breathing (he has asthma anyway) and they didn't take a blood test or anything they just took him to a&e and when he came round they sent us home. The paramedic was insistent he was drunk, he wasn't he had drunk about 2 pints. Anyway I don't think you should get involved either, he is a grown up and should have enough about him to handle this situation himself. I live in a small village with a rugby team and this is the type of thing they do to each other all the time. I am not saying it's right or that I agree with it but apparantly it's part of being a 21 year old boy

OP your brother needs to have some kind of proof that this was done with intent to harm him. To me it sounds like a bit of larking around. Some people i know (note not friends) do this from time to time when one as gone to the loo. They will put salt/pepper/mayo etc in a drink. Not to annoy for but for fun.
