DH is RAF too, and he was very annoyed that William didn't wear his RAF No1's, as was I.

I doubt William gives a tosh what you and your DH think he should have worn. LOL! Get your head out your arse!

Skifit · 02/05/2011 10:40

I guess it was his wedding....he can wear, within reason what he likes.....!

Abr1de · 02/05/2011 12:31

The York girl wearing the beige/blush outfit would have looked wonderful if she hadn't had the weird hat on top. She has a nice, post-Marathon, figure. Why didn't someone pull the hat off her head before she left home?

PlopPlopPing · 02/05/2011 12:34

I keep looking through this thread and I don't know why because it's driving me crazy! All that matters is that the bride and groom were happy with what they were wearing, the flowers bla bla bla, that they were comfortable and all that stuff.

PlopPlopPing · 02/05/2011 12:37

overthesea Also, I know someone who worked for the Middletons and they don't make anything like the figures bandied about in the papers

I doubt you "friend" knows the whole family finances!

... and remove a bit of the eye make up while they were at it.

Just seen a photoshopped pic on FB with a cat coming out of the front of that hat - like a cat flap.

Abr1de- I've got a great post-MarsBar figure Grin

Southofthethames, I think if you're going to wear a service dress uniform you have to wear it all, and you can't pick and choose among the elements of it. Hence the careful donning of gloves before entering the coach (or wagon as youngest DD called it) when leaving the Abbey. Plus, the route to the Palace featured a few memorials that required a salute and the full uniform was therefore necessary.

Abr1de · 02/05/2011 16:14

Yes (to Campion). Agree about the eyes. Shame because the detail on the jacket particularly is really nice.

BitOfFun--I've got a post Easter-egg one, myself.

I read that as William is an honourary colonel in the Irish Guards there's an argument for his wearing his most senior uniform. He still wore his RAF wings etc.
