To be somewhat pissed off to find someone in the back of my car?

Opened my hatchback boot to let dog jump in yesterday morning to find a body in the back of my car. At first I thought it was of the dead variety, but turned out to be a semi conscious (ie pissed) teenage girl who had spent the night in my car.

Confused

Shock How did she get in?

emsyj · 10/04/2011 22:31

I would have shit myself and run away screaming rather than been pissed off.... But on the whole, YANBU.

follyfoot · 10/04/2011 22:31

No, not joking. As I said, thought it was a body at first - as the person was curled up on the back seat with my yoga mat on top of them.

Re-locked the car, yelled my husband to call the police. He said "I dont know their number" (I promise you.....Hmm ).

He pottered down the garden to my car and peered in with me, by this stage the 'body' was beginning to sit up. I asked her WTF she was doing in my car, she said 'well it was unlocked'. Told her to get out, so she staggered out, then tried to stroke my dog (I kid you not), at which point she was told to start walking. Fast.

Very strange as we live in the middle of nowhere, in woodland, up a track off a tiny lane.

Looking back, am starting to see the funny side Grin

Oh and no, DH, I wont leave my car accidentally unlocked again, as he so helpfully suggested.

OldLadyKnowsNothing · 10/04/2011 22:33

You sent a pissed teenage girl off on her own, to walk through the "middle of nowhere, in woodland, up a track off a tiny lane"?

GreenEyesandHam · 10/04/2011 22:33

Seriously?

That's amazing.

I struggle to fit 5 bags of shopping, what kind of hatchback is it?

They should use that^^ in their next ad campaign :o
