Oh yet another thread on comic relief. Glad you enjoyed it OP, but how dare you call people names if they don't choose to donate. There are many more charities out there and many people help them year round... with the annual fanfare that is 'red nose day'. Get over yourself and find a little humility that you have what you need instead of crusading and berating people you don't even know.

I give nothing to charity OP. I much prefer to piss it all away on good red wine, Ocado deliveries and Boden.

I give Comic Relief nothing. Except the pound I was forced to donate so my kids could wear their own clothes to school today I might choose to give more to CR if they shared some of their profits with other parts of the world that have poverty equal to that in Africa.

But I give a hell of a lot of time and money to other charities, neither of which have anything to do with anything that comic relief would support. Why is that so hard for ou to believe?

Lila - many people do - in a different way!!! (and at the risk of being shot down in flames the charities might get a lot more if less was spent filming long TV programmes, sending video camera to people working with the charities and asking them to make a short clip about their work rather than sending v expensive celebs to get their 5 mins of fame and paying the expenses for 'fund-raising trips and expeditions' that are undertaken. I would love someone to do a definitive, unbiased comparative study of the benefit the charities currently get compared to the benefits of all the celebs/companies involved just making a donation to the charities without all the hype.
