To think breast fed babies are more intellegent

Because their parents tend to be more intellegent not because they were breast fed?
More intellegent parents are more likely to choose to breast feed regardless of any dificulties they face if they think it will benefit their children.

Panzee · 13/03/2011 19:56

Yes, absolutely. My son was reading and commenting on Sartre till I put him on formula. Now he just holds the books and babbles incoherently.

BertieBasset · 13/03/2011 19:56

I'm a genius and I ff'd Grin

mayorquimby · 13/03/2011 19:56

MadMommaMemoo · 13/03/2011 19:57

PersonalClown · 13/03/2011 19:57

Strawberry Marshmallow fluff anyone??

pigletmania · 13/03/2011 19:57

YABVVVU and very narrow minded, you are going to get flamed and rightly so. No everybody is able to breastfeed, a lot of women lack the support to help them and have to resort to formula. This thread is just going to make those who where not able to breastfeed for whatever reason guilty and angry and seeks no purpose really.

BertieBasset · 13/03/2011 19:57

Wow what research did you do to come to this conclusion? If you follow
Your own logic then you were obviously formula fed

Pilchardnpoppy · 13/03/2011 19:57

Interesting point.

If you're talking about the studies discussed in the papers, I think the researchers 'paired up' children from parents with similar IQs, one that was bf and one that was ff, to discount parent's intelligence as a factor.

Itrymybest · 13/03/2011 19:57

BulletWithAName · 13/03/2011 19:59

I was formula fed. I could read fluently by 3 and a half. My brother was formula fed. He is expected A across the board, apart from Maths and Physics which he took early and already has A in them.
