Just to let you know I decided to be very grown up and have the last word with Madman.

I think it was rather good.

Hullygully · 24/02/2011 11:19

andandandandandand?

I was thinking you could have said: "Yeah, I got that. Cheers!"

I Predict Outrageous Asinine Threads

TrillianAstra · 24/02/2011 11:27

(not an insult to the IPOATers, just some words)

TrillianAstra · 24/02/2011 11:27

Love that dunk!

Hullygully · 24/02/2011 11:28

We can take it Trills, we're dead tough

There there Hullster. It's harsh, but fair.

Hullygully · 24/02/2011 11:34

We're waiting, Mimi.

Yes, harsh, but fair.

OP posts:
Umami · 24/02/2011 11:54

We are asinine and volatile, yet vulnerable. It's a good mix.

MadameDefarge · 24/02/2011 12:08

Eh? Thought that has already been covered in dumping email number 1, and my response to it. But just in case I wasn't clear, I don't want to see you again either. There's nothing particularly sad about it. One drink too many and I behaved a bit like a loon and freaked you out. Not my finest moment, But I am sure you have had the odd occasion when you have done the same.

So to be very very clear. You don't want to see me again. I don't want to see you again, for any amount of reasons known or unknown, guessed or aired.

Good. Sorted. But lovely kissing. So not all a waste.

Umami · 24/02/2011 12:19

Oooooh, I like it. Spiky.

What odds will you give me on a further reply on his part?

Pagwatch · 24/02/2011 12:29

Oh yes he will respond.

But pert and wafty. I like it. I love the lovely kissing comment. Damning with faint praise.....

MadameDefarge · 24/02/2011 13:14

Yes, I am quite pleased with it.

Ha!

Thank you for Didier. A lovely divertissement!

MadameDefarge · 24/02/2011 13:19

I'm wondering whether a trip to Renaissance Florence or Rome might tax us a bit too far? I thinking on the Borgia notion, opps for cross dressing, Popery, poison etc etc

BeribbonedGibbon · 24/02/2011 13:33

Great mail mimi. Hope he feels like an arse as he reads it.

I have amazingly, fabulous, wonderful news! My Dad got the all the clear from the bone scan, the cancer has not come back!

I have been in tears of relief. Thank God is all I can say.

Congratulations gibbon

Xxxxx

BeribbonedGibbon · 24/02/2011 14:02

Thanks Pag Grin

God I am giddy with grinning.

I have been worried sick and the relief is immense.

I can re book their trip to Rome now Grin It was a gift from DH and I that had to be cancelled before, when he first got diagnosed. We have had to wait for his recovery and checks. Then this worry started so we held back again. I am so thrilled they will get to see the place for the first time together Smile I best get a move on if they are to see the spanish steps in the spring!

Umami · 24/02/2011 14:08

Wonderful, wonderful news Gibberi! Your husband is overcome.

I learned everything I know from dear Lucrezia, you know.

BeribbonedGibbon · 24/02/2011 14:13

I shall ignore the seemingly subtle yet pointed use of beri there widow to say thank you!!

MadameDefarge · 24/02/2011 14:15

Oh oh oh! That is so fantastic big hugs and kisses and slobbering over Nigella and DD1 too.

Umami · 24/02/2011 14:16

(I just like the implication of gibbering Grin)

Umami · 24/02/2011 14:17

A gibbon should gibber, don't you think?

BeribbonedGibbon · 24/02/2011 14:40

Thank you mimi my lovely Grin

Oddly enough I was considering GibberingGibb
