Beri - that is simply fab. Huzzahs all round.

Mimi - I am agog. An email of splendour.

Thank you Hully Grin

PrincessFiorimonde · 24/02/2011 15:31

Gibbon, that is great news! xxx And how lovely about the trip to Rome.

Mimi, good email. Specially the bit about the kissing.

I knew what IPOAT stood for but now you have all lost me Confused

Sounds like BeribbonedGibbon has had good news though. Congratulations.

minimammoth · 24/02/2011 16:04

So glad for you Gibbo, that must be a huge relief.
If we can't go on the starship enterprise, (I have been practising my Klingon) I would love to go to Renaissance Florence. Gibbs might be Gibherti he of the duomo.

BeribbonedGibbon · 24/02/2011 16:07

Thank you blathers Smile

You know IPOAT is like the Hotel California, once you post once you never leave. You may simply lurk or hopefully post but IPOAT will forever be part of you now.

Blatherskite · 24/02/2011 16:12

A bit like Herpes?

Grin
BeribbonedGibbon · 24/02/2011 16:32

Thank you mini Smile

I am happy to travel wherever you wonderful lot take me.

Blathers, so Hully tells me, yes. Wink

Jins · 24/02/2011 16:42

I've been a bit busy with mr jins as referenced in the last thread.

But fab news Gibbs :)

BeribbonedGibbon · 24/02/2011 16:50

Thank you jins! are you having a most wonderful time? Grin and did you cave on the cigg front? Smile

Jins · 24/02/2011 16:55

If I'd left my sulky teenager at home then we'd have had a fantastic time. I have just caved but seeing as I've been forced to drink beer I don't feel too bad.

I coul live here

BeribbonedGibbon · 24/02/2011 17:12

You'll love beer by the time you get home.

Have a wonderful rest of the trip Smile

BeribbonedGibbon · 25/02/2011 08:06

You know I think my DD2 was quite taken with our Amish adventures, she does so love starting the day at 5am [deadpan]

Umami · 25/02/2011 08:51

I am wearing a dress Shock

Even though I am at home alone, with no plans other than MNing tidying and doing a bit of work work. I may have to find an excuse to stand in the garden where the neighbours can see. I may put a pinny on and bake. I may put my face on in time for my husband to come home from work! I may start looking at Boden! Anything could happen!

Umami · 25/02/2011 08:52
Umami · 25/02/2011 08:54

I could put lace up shoes on and shine my sink, exceot I don't believe I own any lace up shoes. Unless Vans count?

BeribbonedGibbon · 25/02/2011 09:01

I think is fabulous you are wearing a dress. Can we hve a description please? I do like a mental image.

I'm not a pervy stalker, rest assured.

Hullygully · 25/02/2011 09:08

The only dresses I have are two hideous ones BIL got me from Tescoes for the beach.

OP posts:
Umami · 25/02/2011 09:18

Oh, is not very exciting. Brown wrap thingy, knee length, plunging V-neckline, purply vest underneath, huge knockers, that sort of thing.

Umami · 25/02/2011 09:19

Bit creeped out by your BIL Hulls. Is he a pervy stalker like Gibb?

Umami · 25/02/2011 09:22

Like this but less pregnant, less blonde and windswept, and more cleavage.

Hullygully · 25/02/2011 09:27

Oh pore BIL, he was being kind. Me and dsis have same shopping issues (ie can't and won't) so he bulk buys for us on occasion. (When forced).

interestingly (no, it is, shut up, yes, because I said so)

(oh sorry. switched to Half Term Parenting Mode there for a second Blush)

...I remember the first IPOAT thread was a one that was headed: When I Post On A Thread, everyone fucks off etc etc. It started off quite reasonably and predictably, but then went a bit straaaaange
