Sensible. Good thinking. Breathe. Relax. Have a good time, let go of expectations. Hope its good. Hugs

MadameDefarge · 05/03/2011 19:21

thank you mini.

I suspect he is even more bonkers than me, which will make a nice change!

Hullygully · 05/03/2011 20:32

Just reign in the sexy cheek taps Mimi, and all will be well...

CheerfulYank · 06/03/2011 01:48

I have to tell you, the "sexy cheek tap" has gone into my mental file of things to think about when I need to be cheered up. You're forever with me now, mimi. :o

MadameDefarge · 06/03/2011 12:41

You will all be delighted to know I behaved like a perfect lady. No slaps tears or snogging.

He was absolutely lovely, but zero, nada on the romance or sexy stakes. ( I think the parka might have had something to do with it)

So, a delightful evening all in all, just no future to it.

Still, onwards and upwards!

Hullygully · 06/03/2011 14:24

Well done Mimi!

Remember, many a frog you must kiss, but it's all in the gaaaaamee....

BeribbonedGibbon · 07/03/2011 09:36

Shame no chemistry Mimi but at least you had a nice evening Smile

minimammoth · 08/03/2011 16:06

Are we all out skipping amongst the daisies, frolicking with the frogs( other than mimi) and gamboling with the lambs?

CheerfulYank · 08/03/2011 23:22

No, but oddly enough I spent my day running skipping after a seven-year-old named Daisy whilst she told everyone she passed that I was going to take her into a dark room and stab her.

I need a raise. :o

Umami · 09/03/2011 09:05

I have been frolicking in the sunshine, though it's still bloody cold.

I have strolled through a wooded glade full of snowdrops, nearly died from cold walking by the windy ocean, but we saw a seal (who must have been colder), which made the cold okay, and had tea and cake on the beach. I do like a bit of Springtime.

minimammoth · 09/03/2011 10:09

AmEnvy of your beach moments Umami. Blubber is what you need.

Hullygully · 09/03/2011 15:47

Seals? What larks!

I have just been to a funeral (not a sad one)which involved a church drone and then a burial. Sadly my dsis got the wrong cemetary so that was a bit of a dead loss (boom boom).

OP posts:
Hullygully · 09/03/2011 15:47

I've misspelt cemetery haven't I? Can't tell now.

OP posts:
BeribbonedGibbon · 09/03/2011 15:55

I have never been to a not sad funeral. I think I would rather everyone laughed, drank and fondly remembered at mine.

Have been holiday hunting all day. Finally booked one

Hope everyone is well. Cheerful, I did giggle at stabbing in dark room.

I was at the beach but a few days ago widow, but it was v v cold

Hullygully · 09/03/2011 15:55

Oooo, where you going, Beri?

OP posts:
BeribbonedGibbon · 09/03/2011 15:58

Punta Prima in Menorca, never been but my friend said she had a lovely holiday there so am crossing fingers.

BeribbonedGibbon · 09/03/2011 15:59

and a nice short flight Wink

I hate flying

CheerfulYank · 09/03/2011 16:04

Oooh, am so jealous of anyone going on a holiday.

I giggled too, actually, Beri. My student is hilarious . Once I had her in a time-out chair and she was sobbing hysterically. A delivery man walked by with a dolly full of boxes and she screamed at him, "Hey! Can't you see I need help here, you asshole?!" I think she was five at the time... :o

BeribbonedGibbon · 09/03/2011 16:06

Shock cheerful

Am I to be forever Beri?

Hullygully · 09/03/2011 16:23

What happened to the 'keep my boy away from the oiks' thread?

Hullygully · 10/03/2011 08:36

Did it go?

When I were young, I laughed so much at Abigail's Party I was nearly sick. Now it makes me weep and bang my head against the wall. Age. Ruins everything.
