I think tattoos can be fab works of art when done right. I don't have any myself, but OH has them on his back and upper arms and they look good.

But green and red and black stars? It looks like a kid has drawn them Confused

Why?!

I have coloured stars on the back of my neck...I'd better book in to have laser removal now! Grin

HecateQueenOfWitches · 16/02/2011 18:18

I have no idea.

Has some 'sleb' had it done? I notice that if a famous person got themselves buggered by a cactus there are people who would follow suit.

Thingumy · 16/02/2011 18:18

YABU

It's her choice isn't it?.You may think that your dh's tattoos are great but someone else may beg to differ...

Personal choice.

tatooed hand is nasty. Likewise any man with a tatooed neck or face screams "I've been in jail".

usualsuspect · 16/02/2011 18:19

Why ?Because she likes them perhaps

StarlightPrincess · 16/02/2011 18:20

No offence taken, Hecate! Wink

HecateQueenOfWitches · 16/02/2011 18:20

phew.

nikki1978 · 16/02/2011 18:22

Maybe that is the amount of people she has killed..... Grin

zookeeper · 16/02/2011 18:23

I cringe when I see any tattoes - they always look cheap to me

TragicallyHip · 16/02/2011 18:23

I want some stars done on my back. Not multi-coloured tho, just black!

zookeeper · 16/02/2011 18:24

TheLadyEvenstar · 16/02/2011 18:24

My Uncle has hundreds of tattoos and some are on his face/neck/hands/wrists - he has never been in jail but he is an ex hells angel Grin

captainbarnacle · 16/02/2011 18:24

Heheh loving the assassination connotation - that's going to make me smile next time I see her and wipe the disgusted face right off.

Thanks mumsnet - I've been helped!

de rigeur here is to havce your children's names tattooed on your neck

it looks bloody awful

FancyALittle · 16/02/2011 18:25

Stars are the current fad for tattoos, it seems.

Before that were Chinese symbols and before that was the celtic band round the upper arm.

The one trend that seems to continue is the lower back tattoo (which I've heard called a 'slag tag').

But YABU to cringe, it's her choice.

momentsintime · 16/02/2011 18:25

tramp stamp. the end.

stiflersmom · 16/02/2011 18:25

Glitterknickaz · 16/02/2011 18:26

stiflersmom · 16/02/2011 18:27

jesus, I like stars but that woman looks like she's been spattered with boiling pitch

I would like a Tudor rose, very little, on the inside of my forearm

but I am too cautious (and mean) to go for it

TheLadyEvenstar · 16/02/2011 18:28

Bloodymary · 16/02/2011 18:30
