To laugh at women that don't work but........

To laugh at women that don't work but rush to the school gates 10 mins after the bell and usually rushing in at school finishing time rambling on about how busy they are and there is not enough time in the day.

I only work 16 hours a week and still manage to get everything done and a meal on the table.

So the question is ''Are people that work more organized?''

sevendwarves - she's fine with benefits - she's already said that - as I asked if I should go and work or whether I should stay at home for my children. She said I should be at home - which means on benefits.

Honeydragon · 28/01/2011 14:06

Shall we send Match box over to the feeding threads and see whether BF/FF can finally live in cosmic harmony?

FACT.

BaroqueAroundTheClock · 28/01/2011 14:10

that's even better Trolly - you're at home with them in the school holidays, AND you're not "junking" them out to someone else as you're there with the,

Then you'll always be early, then you'll be a bad mum because you will have dropped your child off in the school yard knowing that there would be no one responsible to look after your child whilst you are at work.

matchbox20 · 28/01/2011 14:11

Poor man lol....but looking after my own child .

Honey - it is indeed true that the closer to the school, the later you will be - I lived next door to my Infants' School and was late nearly every day! BlushGrin

oooo goody - she's back - would you mind answering my question a little further up about cut off age/being on benefits for 15-18yrs??

ChinaCup · 28/01/2011 14:12

I'm an SAHM though my children aren't at school yet but I sincerely hope that I will be too busy drinking coffee with my friends, going to the gym, having my nails done and shagging the gardener to turn up to the school gates on time.

Fuck's sake!

CatIsSleepy · 28/01/2011 14:13

is this poke-fun-at SAHMs day or something? second ridiculous thread of this nature today Hmm

BaroqueAroundTheClock · 28/01/2011 14:14

Lets just say you work 30hrs a week (holidays too) that means that you've still got, wait for it.........138hrs a week to look after you own child.

Even the poor buggers working 50 hours a week still get over 100 hours to look after their own child.
